Pokémon: Project Destiny
Storyline
Many trainers set out on their journey with the goal of defeating the Elite Four in mind. Most end up failing, but there are a select few trainers who succeed. But what happens to these potential trainers who've managed to overcome their regions challenges and become a champion? Where do they go next to test their skills? No other place but the faraway region, Verla.
Not only is the region home to some of the worlds strongest trainers, but it's also the home to some of the biggest selection of Pokémon thanks to the regions extensive enviroments and habitats. But the main reason to why so many trainers decide to journey to Verla is for the World Championship Battle Tournament. A newly opened tournament inviting trainers from all across the world to take part of their regional challenges for a chance to participate.
This is where your quest starts. The challenges are about to begin and this is your perfect opportunity to prove yourself that you're stronger than the rest.
This is your journey, and your destiny.
Spoiler:
But is that all?
Features
- A new region filled with exciting new maps and scripts.
- Each area has something that you can unlock later on in the game. This adds replayability to them
- Gym Leaders are now replaced with Judges. Each Judge has a specific challenge for you to complete and will evaluate your progress. Are you able to pass them all?
- The game will be significantly harder. I'm very into competitive Pokémon and have always wanted a somewhat difficult Pokémon journey. (It will not be difficult to the point a casual player can't play, but no ploughing straight through the content.)
- Since Verla is a region filled with strong trainers, you will encounter many familiar faces from previous Pokémon games.
- The ability to face off against the protagonists from the Pokémon Adventures manga. (teaser image)
- A well written story with a twist.
- Side quests and story arcs to present you to each individual character and to familiarize you with them.
- Ability to take on missions which bring you around the world to different regions like Kanto, Johto and so on.
- All 649 (Might consider 721 later on) Pokémon with fully working sprites and edited movesets to compensate for the lack of moves.
- All of those Pokémon will be obtainable in one way or another. I will try to do this in a non-cluttered matter as much as possible.
- Rare encounteable Pokémon in each and every single area. Tall grass, surfing, fishing all have a 5% chance of you encoutering a special Pokémon.
- Some new moves and abilities from the modern generations are added and functional.
- Nurses and Doctors from BW2 are being added as an alternative way for you to heal your Pokémon mid-journey.
- At the same time the repel system from BW2 will also be added as a quality of life change.
- ..and more to come!

Want to help?
We are currently looking for three things:
- Someone willing to teach me how to insert high quality music and somebody who's willing to teach me ASM. (Personally, not through tutorials.)
- Someone who can make a nice looking CSS for this thread.
