I'm liking the new screenshots, though it's weird to have a town built on sand and with sandcastles. Is that an egg shop or a day care centre?

Thank you! I wanted to make a more natural transition between the beachy part of the region and another one. So, technically the houses are not stationed on sand.
The house is primarily the day care centre, but maybe there will also be an egg shop in there.

Mini Updates

Just wanted to show you guys a sneek peek of things to come - as stated in the features section, the player will encounter many familiar faces from previous regions. Now, I won't be adding Cyntia or Lance, mostly because they're overused in many, many hacks. I took some time to search through the characters in previous generations(and who would be appropriate based on the story) and the first character the player will meet is Hoenn's Battle Frontier's Salon Maiden Anabel.

Just really wanted to show off a section of the world right before the second gym city - Wiccen Park. I really had fun mapping it, it has a bit of Johto's National Park feeling to it and the player will hopefully have fun exploring it.

I like it! The idea of transversing two different worlds, one that's just in your imagination is very original and very neat. You've also done very well with the graphical aspects of this hack too. I wish you the best of luck!

Some of the trees in that picture has a tile error on it. The tree is shifted 1 tile too much.

Kinda-updates.

So, yeah - this project is not dead, yay, but the progress is significantly slower, since real life is occupying most of my free-ish time. But I have mapped a bit, inserted some fakemon and I am planning to make the second gym city in the near future.
In the mean time, enjoy some eye candy:

So, after the first gym, you starter will most likely evolve!

Also, you will travel into another realm.

And after Wiccen Park, you will enter the Wiccen Forest, known for it's bug and psychic type Pokémon, like Elgyem, that lurk within.

Updates.

Since my scripter is on holidays and I'm not really at home this weekend I could only map the next town and did some new OWs, that are based on the HGSS ones.

Well why not actual 4th gen OWs? I think they'll fit better in the graphics and that inserting them is not that hard and it will make the graphics fit much better.

This hack is beautiful, but this area looks really jarring: I understand you're going for the chequered Wonderland motif but the contrast between the purple and the white is way too high and it makes the screen hard to focus on. I'd suggest removing the pillow shading from the floor tiles and making the white more purple and the purple less dark, if that makes sense. I do love the egg shop and the rest of the tiles and graphics in general though!
