"Yeah, that would be much better! Plus I might need some help. Thanks!" Kayleigh said as she glanced around the area.
"I guess that we're stuck eating fruit. I'm not going to kill any animals; If you guys are desperate for meat, then go ahead and find something, just don't show it to me!" She cringed at the thought of having to cook something like that.
"Well, anyways... What kind of food do you like? I'm not very picky, but I don't know about you. I'm trying to find things that everyone will like."

"Heh, nah, I don't want to kill anything, I don't think anyone else would be so savage for food. Well, I'm not really picky, so long as it won't poison me and has an ok taste, I'll eat it."

He gave her a small smile, he hadn't smiled in a long while, but everything had its proper time and place

"Okay!" Kayleigh replied, smiling back. She then looked up towards the trees, and sighed.
"Too bad most of the trees here are so hard to climb," she mumbled. "But, anyways, I guess that our main problem is finding some spring water. You can't drink salt water... Have you seen any springs around here? Because if not, then we're in trouble!"

"The tress aren't very hard to climb, some of them just break easily. heh, I learned that the hard way. I can't really say that I have seen any streams, but there has to be some sort of water here, it just takes some looking is all."

He scuffed the ground with his worn out shoe, surely it wasn't going to last him any longer, before he knew it, he would be walking around barefoot, and these shoes would be history, either out in the island somewhere, or put to some use, nothing could be wasted at this point.

As Evelina whacked the tree, her skin became clammy at the thought of bugs. Strangly enough, at the thought of bugs, she thought of her brother, who shared the same fear with her.
I miss you... she thought, becoming more and more homesick at the moment.
She blinkeed away the tears that were threatning to fall and continued whacking.
((I'll be gone for 1 or 2 days, due to the [sarcastic voice]wonderful[/sarcastic voice] finals. n_n;))

((Okay, good luck!))

"Yeah. I heard you," Kayleigh replied, laughing. "Anyways... Why don't we look for some water, first? We can live longer without food than water, and since it's getting late, I'd rather find something to drink."
She began to walk into the woods, pushing leaves and branches away from her.
Ehh, the forest is so thick, she thought.

"Yea, we need to find water, and soon..."

He followed closely behind Kayleigh, gazing around, looking for a source of water. It was getting dim out, but not so much so they didn't have another good hour or so before they had to go back.

"Maybe once we get further from the ocean, we'll be able to hear running water, if there is any..." Kayleigh replied.
She continued walking and looking around. After a few minutes, she could see a valley-like area.
"There might be a waterfall or pond nearby," she said, walking towards it. She glanced down, and saw a small lake of water.
"Oh, great!" she said, smiling. "I see some water! The only problem is getting down there. There isn't anything to climb down to it."

"Well, this is just great, we found some water, only we can't get to it. Come on, let's go closer, maybe we can find something out there."

He wandered to the valley like formation, wondering how they could get the water.

"Okay," Kayleigh replied, following him. She glanced around at the area, thinking about what to do.
"There are a lot of trees with long branches that stretch over the valley, but they're too high up. We need a vine or something... Be looking for one, because it would come in handy!"
She stopped for a moment and examined all of the branches, in search of some sort of vine that they could climb on.

OOC: You two are off having an adventure on the island, and we're stuck cutting a tree hehe...
Bye Miyu-chan! I'm sure you'll do just great!

Jordan paused to rest, as another tree toppled over into the sand, fairly close to the previous one. He sat down, back against another tree, and looked up at the advancing night.
"Wow, today seemed so long....." he said, turning to the fallen trees.
"I guess we've had some good fortune after all!"
At that moment, he realized he was dreadfully thirsty, and began searching around for some water.
"Ocean water won't do any good..." he said to himself, patting his shorts to see if, by chance, he brought any with him.
"It'll only worsen the situation."
He lowered himself onto the ground once more, happliy embracing the wond that blew across the sand, and touched his face.

"Hmm, I don't see any vines that we could use to go down the valley, or anything we can use actually, looks like we're stuck unless we find some way to get down there and back up."

((XD Kay & DT back! But I'm, actaully... not doing anything lol. O.o))

((lol, me too Miyu-chan. ._. But I don't really care, I don't want high grades this year.))

((If palm trees are just those regular tropical trees you see in TV and whatnot. I don't see how you can cut a palm tree down just like that... and such a short time... not that I tried before - But it's live trees! In the actual Lord of the Flies, it took them more then a month to get only a part of the shelters completed. At the rate we're going, I think we can finish a shelter before going to sleep. =\))

Old sailor... told him about our plane, huh? They were rescuing us... oh, oh... They didn't make it. Our plane... but I didn't see him when I was in the water... I guess... but how... single life jacket... given to you... and thus you survived. You killed him? He lost his grip? Screwed.
"Ah crap sorry," he replied with empathy.
"... Don't say that... That sucks, but I know you didn't mean for him to die." Tom wanted to reason against Jordan's self-blame but he couldn't find it within him to continue. He didn't really believe it was Jordan who let go. To him, it was the old man who let go to save Jordan, for a second time apparently.
Tom held back more of his so-thought selfish words... Silence. Whyy did I have to ask so much... now he looks sad...
"You came all this way to try to save us... you knew your friends where on the plane... that's...." why you knew everyone on the island! "Very heroic of you! Well personally I'm not in a big hurry to go home!" He said smiling.
Dumbhead! Can't you see he and basically everyone else wants to go home besides you? Nice going! Tom thought to himself.

((Yeah, I think I'll continue doing nothing but talk... x_x I can't think of anything else to do, lol, no one else is appearing and I want to ask about leadership. d=))

Edit: If you guys [Kay & DT] don't find any vine, come back to the beach... okay? We can wait till tommorrow or something otherwise to elect someone leader lol.

Edit2: Rofl... ahh!!! 100 posted already!! XD Jeez. Can't I even take ONE day off from here and not have to... >> whateva... lol. XD

._.

((Lol, have fun cutting trees, Jordan! And I know of a way to get to the water. It'll probably take a while, but we'll figure it out.))

"Hmm..." Kayleigh paused for a moment, and looked up at one particular tree that seemed to be a bit different than the others. After a few seconds of staring at it, she finally perked up.
"Aha! I see a vine!" she said, running over towards the tree. It didn't look too difficult to climb.
"Are you very good at climbing?" she asked Zeth, turning around to look at him.

"Sure, I guess I'm an ok climber, so long as the vine doesn't tear or anything."

He walked over to the vine, saw that it did look a little old, but it could hold them.

"Okay," Kayleigh replied, looking over at the tree. "I guess that we can climb up that tree; it's a bit slanted, so it shouldn't be too hard."
She walked over to it and held on to one of the branches, then slowly crawled up to the branch that the vine was wrapped around.
"Erm, I guess living with a brother that is an expert at climbing taught me a lot! I'm glad that I do now," she said, staring down at the ground.
It's so far down! she thought, cringing. But... we need the water.
She carefully grabbed on to the vine, and began to crawl down. After a few moments, she was finally within two feet of the ground.
"Alright!" she said, jumping down. "It worked!"

"Ok, now just let me go down there, now we need a way to carry the water..."

Zeth nimbly hopped on the branch, and then grabbed on to the vine, feeling the rough surface. He slid down the vine very quickly, and he hadn't realize he was at the bottom until he fell off of it. Luckily, he realized it within seconds of falling, so he was able to land safely

"Yea, I'm ok, I guess. Too bad we really don't have anything to drink, but since I'm already here, I'm going to take a drink."

He leaned over to the water, and brought some of it to his face, after cupping it with his hand, and drank until his thirst was finally quenched.

Kayleigh walked over towards an area that had several bushes, and she pointed at one of the leaves.

"This one kind of looks like it would hold water," she said, looking at it.
But not enough! We need a bigger one, she thought, looking around. She then spotted a few odd branches.
"We might could make a basket... Though, it would take a while, and we don't have much time. I guess that we'll have to try tommorow. For now, though, just pick off some leaves that look like they would hold enough water for a few people."
