6. Magnet Pull
8. Anchor Shot (Dhelmise)
10. Seems Aron, named Ronar; or the Steelix who named Rusty. Going with Rusty.

All correct.
6. The hint refers to Magnet Pull's outside of battle effect.
8. A Grass/Ghost type Pokemon with a signature Steel type move: Dhelmise's Anchor Shot.
10. Was expecting this to be one of the harder ones tbh, but it is indeed Rusty, the nickname for Jasmine's Steelix that she uses in the Super Contests of Sinnoh.

12 across: Registeel?

4 down: Metal Alloy

All correct.

4. The item to evolve Duraludon, which looks like a building, into Archaludon, which looks like a bridge when it's about to shoot an attack.
12. It is indeed Registeel. The hint refers to opening Registeel's chamber in Hoenn. In all games but Emerald you use Fly in the middle of the room. In Emerald you have to use Flash instead for some reason.

5. Empoleon (Guessing purely by abilities)
7. Orthworm

7 across: Orthworm
5 down: Empoleon

Since you both answered 5 & 7... the answers are correct:
5. The hint is about Empoleon's HA change to Competitive in gen 9.
7. Was meant to be an easier one, the Lurking Steel Titan: Orthworm.

I'm not sure who to give the points to. For me it says Devalue's post is @ 4:49 PM.
Delta Crowned Sword's post says "Last edited: Today at 4:55 PM" for me.

I guess they go to Devalue since there's no edit line and the time stamp is earlier?
Could also just give 1 point to each if preferred.

Shrugs. Does not care too much about the points.

3 across: Doublade? (Not really a single blade, though. Not Honedge or Aegislash. Not Zacian.)
11 across: Totem Togedemaru? (Figured something Alolan. Thought of Togedemaru. Worked with the final 'u'. Pieced it together thanks to thinking of Totem Kommo-o.)

1 down: Flash Cannon? (Cannot be a badge. Assumes a TM. Remembered a Steel move that fit.)
2 down: Mineral Badge (Jasmine's badge in Johto).
_______

No guesses from here on out. Just thinking.

9 down: Would have said (Totem) Kommo-o. Who else is Steel?

3 across; incorrect.

11 across; correct. It's a Totem in USUM only. After doing the battery puzzles the mechanical Vikavolt machine overloads and Sophocles' Togedemaru tries to absorb the electricity, but can't handle it. Totem Togedemaru shows up and steps in.

1 down; correct. Byron gives you the Flash Cannon TM for beating him in Sinnoh. Byron is the father of the 1st gym leader, Roark.
2 down; correct, it's Jasmine's Mineral Badge.

9 down: Cobalion? (Played with the letters enough until a Pokemon popped up. Played Black recently after a long stretch. Ignored all the legendaries and postgame, though.)

Correct! In ORAS if you land on the Pathless Plain while soaring in the sky you can catch the Swords of Justice. Which one you get depends on the day and each one has a different message that plays the first time you land. The hint is the text that shows up when you land here and it's one of Cobalion's days:

Thread's been inactive for nearly a week and idk what the rule on it is so... should I just reveal the missing one so that the one with the most guesses can make a new one or should I try some different hints first?

An attempt at an expanded hint without trying to give away too much... 3 Across:
The famed blade of hardened Steel who wants your contest to be fair and honorable.

Would be fine with revealing it. Cannot think of anything that fits. Cannot be a Steel-type Pokemon. Ruled out Zacian, the Honedge line, Cobalion, and Gallade for swords. Not the Pawniard line. Never really made an axe Pokemon (kind of Haxorus, but eh). Considers neither Escavalier's lance or Gurdurr's beam as a "blade". Knows about Skarmory's wings and Kartana being sharp. Does not fit, regardless.

Looked through abilities and gym leaders. Nope. Talked about Jasmine, Totem Togedemaru, and Byron. Not Molayne. Wait, what Steel-type Elite Four...
__________

3 across: Is it "Wikstrom", the Steel-type Elite Four leader in Kalos?

Theme: Alola

ACROSS
2. Full of boneheads and no joy in sight.
6. Hawlucha's favored type of match. Not for peasants.
10. Get down, down, down with this move. Do not be a prima donna by insisting on repeat performances, though.
12. A returning character from another game...or was that just a dream?

DOWN
1. The name of a move and also a place. Connects both with a cat.
3. A combination of Pokemon Snap and social media.
4. Badly prepared, yet still tasty.
5. Summons thee with fruit not Kee, spit of bee, and part of tree.
7. Went here for vegetables. Worried about the limited supply. Contained rocks and a gem instead. May have misunderstood.
8. Banned coupon stacking here. Do not expect Rotom to help on bargains.
9. Acts kind of like a trainer sometimes. Could be a case of "Monkey See, Monkey Do".
11. Creates kitchenware from materials off this Pokemon. Try not to tangle with the one surrounded by an aura, though.

2 Across. Po Town? There's no Nurse Joy. Pretty sure Team Skull grunts called each other boneheads at some point.
6 Across. Battle Royal? Can't remember there being a Hawlucha, but fits otherwise I think.

3 Down. Poke Finder.

3 Down. Poke Finder.
Correct on all three. Mentioned Hawlucha for Battle Royal because of the mask the Masked Royal wears. Has the same vibe. Admittedly recalls no other NPCs with a mask. Added the second sentence because of that tenuous link, also.

Updated the image.

9 Down. Oranguru ?
Fits length wise. Might be taking the "Monkey see, Monkey do" part too literally. Had some Dex entries about... coaching other Pokemon? Guiding? Instructing? I don't remember exactly =P
Could also be a referring to it's signature move Instruct.

10 Across... Feels like a Z-move as they can only be used once. Get down down down probably refers to it's dance animation =P Or alternatively the move animation.
'Prima Donna' had me think Oceanic Operetta... is 1 letter too long however so not it.

14 letter Z-move... Breakneck Blitz fits length wise.
Not All-Out Pummeling. Tectonic Rage, too short. Corkscrew Crash, fits.
Not Catastropika or Extreme Evoboost, Let's Snuggle Forever, Guardian of Alola, Malicious Moonsault, Sinister Arrow Raid.... ugh. There's so many Z-moves.
What else was there? Not Shattered Psyche or Hydro Vortex.
Subzero Slammer could fit. Blanking out.

Might as well try 1 of the three that fit length wise.

Is 10 Across Corkscrew Crash ?
Though if Oranguru is correct it's non of these three.... *shrugs*

Correct on 9 down. From the Pokedex:
Ultra Sun said:
It normally spends its time meditating in the treetops. It throws Poké Balls and gives other Pokémon orders as it pleases.
Sounds a lot like a trainer.

Incorrect on 10 across.

5 Down is making me think Totem Lurantis, which actually fits length wise so might as well guess it.
Is 5 Down "Totem Lurantis" ?

A move a Cat Pokemon knows... Incineroar and Darkest Lariat comes to mind. not it. Zeraora and Plasma Fists.
Hmmm no. doesn't say the move is exclusive to the cat Pokemon. Probably does get learned by one of the Alolan kitties though.
A 10 letter move with a W in the second spot and an E in the 7th spot.

Oh... well it fits, but like... I don't know any locations in Pokemon with that name of the top of my head. Is 1 Down "Switcheroo" ?
A certain kitty originally from gen 1 learns it at any rate.

Correct on 5 down. Lures Lurantis out with Mago Berry (fruit not Kee (Berry)), Honey (spit of bee), and Big Root (part of tree...well, probably from a tree). Requires different items in normal Sun/Moon. Would have mentioned something about either that or smashing the items together as a hint.

Correct on 1 down too. For reference, the Switcheroo Festival Plaza building (Ultra only):

4. Down. "Badly prepared, yet still tasty." Is there like a burned Malasada or something....
*checks word length* Oh, just Malasada ?

Is 4 Down "Malasada" ?

12. "A returning character from another game...or was that just a dream?" - 15 letters.

Returning characters that come to mind: Grimsley. Too short.
The Rainbow Rocket villains: Giovanni, Maxie, Archie, Cyrus, Ghetsis, Lysandre. All too short.
What else. Looker and Annabelle/Anabel/whatever her name was. Too short.
Blue & Red. Too short. The science dude... Colress? Colresse? something like that. Still way too short.
Sina and Dexio. Too short once more.

Potentially every Sun/Moon character if we count the ones that return in USUM.

Feels like some sort of title needs to be incorporated to hit that 15 letter limit. Not even getting close to it so far.
What's some lengthy titles...
... Pokémon Trainer? that's what red & blue get right. Too long though, lol. Pokemon trainer is already 14, leaving 1 letter. Not Hau either then I guess.
... Elite Four (9 letters) + Molayne (too long) / Olivia (fits) / Acerola (too long) / Kahili (fits) in USUM & Hala/Olivia/Acerola/Kahili. I can scrap Molayne and Hala since they're not returning e4 members... but they wouldn't have fit length wise anyway =P
Not really sure how they tie in with the dream part of the hint though.
... Professor. Samson Oak/Professor Samson Oak - too short/too long.
Professor Kukui. 1 letter short. What's his wife's name again... was a professor too iirc.... Gonna need to look up the name as I can't remember it lol
Burnet, apparently. Professor Burnet. Actually long enough. Wth did she research again... other dimensions? Right? Do dreams count as another dimension in the Pokemon world? *shrugs*
... what titles did the returning evil team leaders have when you fight them? Gonna need to look it up as well I guess. Oh, is just the team name?
Team Flare Lysandre (too long), Team Plasma Ghetsis (too long), Team Magma Maxie (too short), Team Aqua Archie (too short), Team Galactic Cyrus (too long).
What about Giovanni though... oh Team Rainbow Rocket Giovanni... well that's definitely too long lol
... Trial Captain (12) ... gonna need a 3 letter name then lol Ilima, nope. Lana, nope. Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, Acerola, Mina. Nope.
... Kahuna (6)... no wait. I double checked and apparently it's Island Kahuna as their title, not just Kahuna. Island Kahuna (12). Hala, Olivia, Nanu, Hapu. Despite short names on 3 of them, they're still too long lol.
... not sure what else to go with atm.

Candidates so far:
-Elite Four Olivia
-Elite Four Kahili
-Professor Burnet

Is 12 across "Professor Burnet" ?

11. "Creates kitchenware from materials off this Pokemon. Try not to tangle with the one surrounded by an aura, though."

Feels like a PokeDex Entry related hint... can't think of any Alolan Pokemon that have materials of theirs used as kitchenware though....
.... wait aura? Like a Totem's aura? So a Pokemon that has a Totem version... potentially. Which would be:
Gumshoos/Alolan Raticate. Wishiwashi/Araquanid. Salazzle/Alolan Marowak. Lurantis. Vikavolt/Togedemaru. Mimikyu. Kommo-o. Ribombee. Feel like I'm forgetting someone. Oh well. Let's see if any of these fit first. Needs to be 7 letters. Not Gumshoos, Raticate, Wishiwashi, Araquanid, Salazzle, Lurantis, Vikavolt, Togedemaru, gonna assume the dash would be left out for Kommo-o, which makes it 1 letter short. Not Ribombee.
Marowak & Mimikyu potentially. Kitchenware made out of Marowak's bones perhaps? Not sure how you'd make kitchenware out of Mimikyu's... cloth?

Unless Aura refers to something else and I went off on a completely unrelated path lol

Is 11 down "Marowak"?

4 down: Correct. Originated in Portugal. Translates to "poorly cooked" in English.
12 across: Correct. Met Professor Burnet in Pokemon Dream Radar first (if you actually played it). Enabled the Generation 5 genies to change forms in Black 2/White 2. Gives you the Reveal Glass in Sun/Moon. Jammed together both versions of Burnet into one side-by-side image.

1. The name of both a move and a place. Learns this move on a certain cat. Features said cat's face at the place. (Asks for the move, to be clear.)
3. A combination of Pokemon Snap and social media.
4. Badly prepared, yet still tasty.
5. Summons thee with fruit not Kee, spit of bee, and part of tree.
7. Went here for vegetables. Worried about the limited supply of under a dozen. Found rocks, a gem, and an angry black Pokemon instead. May have misunderstood.
8. Offers some great deals here. Banned coupon stacking, though. Do not expect Rotom to help on bargains.
9. Acts kind of like a trainer sometimes. Could be a case of "Monkey See, Monkey Do".
11. Creates kitchenware from materials off this Pokemon. Was the first Totem Pokemon ever encountered in-game in Alola too.
