    What is your posting style? Mostly reaction gifs? No punctuation? Lowercase all day? What about posting styles you've seen a lot of others use?

    I don't really have one, I don't think. Sometimes I type properly and use proper grammar and punctuation, and sometimes I don't use any at all. It really just depends on how I'm feeling.

    I type the "normal" way. Capitalize what should be capitalized (usually lol), use punctuation, and stick emotes in occasionally because they are cute. And I hardly ever even notice other people's posting styles enough to really have opinions about them.

    ..just no homestuck typing habits please, thankfully I never see those on PC but on some other sites it's a whole other story. >_>;

    all lowercase (except for I's and stuff), no emoticons, proper grammar. usually succinct. I don't know why I type like this.

    Usually, I type the normal way, though my computer gives me additional space between my lines whenever I press the space bar for some reason. If the forums allowed me, I would post a reaction gif or video to show what I feel about certain posts.

    Normal "forum" posting style i.e. typical use of punctuation and capitalisation and some emotes here and there. Only if it's forum games where proper punctuation isn't needed really unless you want to.

    I actually have a tendency to not end any of my sentences with a period for some reason, however I sometimes use question marks, almost never exclamation marks, and as well I tend to ellipsis my sentences (i.e. "...")

    It varies depending on where, about what and to whom I'm posting. Generally, I try to typethe "normal" way as Sheep put it. In the trivia forums though, I kinda post more in the way I would in chats. Without much regard for punctuation and capitalization of words (apart from names and I since it's just become a habit), and without trying to stay formal, since it's the kind of forum where I don't feel like that's necessary :D Not that it is anywhere else, but I just feel like it'd be out of character, and I'm honestly very strict with keeping that haha. I'll also usually throw a smiley in at the end of a section or an occasional sentence in my post, just as an indication of which kind of tone it was supposed to come out in.

    I really dislike it when people abbreviate words like why and you every time in every single post. I'm fine with it in a joking sense, but if it's all the time... it just looks dumb D: Other than that, I don't really mind other posting styles. I guess a lack of smileys just make posts come off as a bit emotionless, but eh, not that important. :p

    Proper grammar has been a vital mainstay of my posting style since I was about 12, with a 99.6% accuracy rate. I do like bending those rules for the sake of emulating the effects of verbal conversation though, and smilies are hardly ever in the middle of a paragraph unless absolutely necessary, and often end up at the ends after the period. :p

    I post it the normal way: Placing punctuations, capitalize at the right places, putting emoticons at the end of a paragraph. I tend to create new paragraphs after an emoticon has been used at the end.

    Although, when regarding grammar, I can't really tell since English isn't my native language (it's my first language though) and grammar lessons here don't really make any sense. But I place my attention on basic grammar anyway. P;

    I use proper grammar in most threads, though sometimes I type without paying attention to punctuation or capitalization, which is more natural/comfortable to me, but looks weird to others so I refrain from doing it often.

    My writing in everything other than text messages or IMs are quite formal; I hate using personal pronouns, and always have, so I try to avoid them as much as possible. And speaking/posting in third-person would not be an option for me because then I would get weird looks XD I'm a stickler for proper grammar, and punctuation even though I make mistakes from time-to-time as well.

    On forums I used to put high priority on a semi-formal style because I was hecka arrogant and of the opinion that perfect grammar and that makes you better than others idk. But screw that, man. I've ended up very casual- I pretty much type how I speak, plus some shorthand/abbreviations. I think tumblr and extensively IMing has helped with that transition. Capitalization ain't so important to me anymore, a wide array of things can be used as punctuation for tonal communication, smilies are rad, and various slang makes its way into what I'm saying. That's all probably helped by the fact that my posts are stream-of-consciousness. I mean this is a form of communication in a casual social setting so whatever. Don't be judging people on how they personally prefer to communicate- as long as you understand what they're getting at, why bother with critiquing their style? I'm all about clarity tbh. I try to have my message and tone come across well and try to understand how other people's styles reflect their tone. That's an important thing in a text-based world.

    So really, the only posting styles that irk me are things I can't read at first glance for reasons of color, font, that Homestuck/l33tsp34k nonsense, incomprehensible word scramble, whatever. If I have to make a real effort to find out what someone's trying to say to me it's annoying. Slang's fine, being silly is fine, but don't actively communicate with me in a way that's hard to understand pls.

    Depends, really. Sometimes I use ponctuation sometimes not.

    When I post in forums, I use ponctuation, when I am in the battle server or replying to a friend's message I don't use it. At least that's what I think.

    I post how I speak, with stops when I'd pause for breath or whatnot. Full punctuation, though I do make sentence fragments as a style choice to emphasize certain things. Like this.

    I'm an editing nut. You'll notice nearly ever post I make is edited, usually because of a typo or format issue, or just because I forgot something. I type super fast, like 70-80 wpm, with a hella lot of keystrokes, so I tend to have errors every now and then when brain doesn't quite make it to keyboard.
