Question Of The Day #3: What changes would you make to PC?

Miraculously under some great stroke of luck, you wake up one day to find yourself an Admin of PokeCommunity. With that you've also gained a large quantity of knowledge how to code and work it so whatever changes you would like to make to the site happen. So my question to y'all is what kinds of changes or additions would you make to the site, for better or for worse? Would you add some kind of feature that hasn't been available on the site before? Would you merge specific sections together? Would you design your own theme for the site? Would you have some functions available for some members, or just limit it to a select few?

Personally for me, I'd love to see Vines be embedded so they can be played on PC.​

I would change some staff-related rules because I have feelings on them.

I would also make a working mobile theme or mobile app. Might do that anyway though cause I have the skills to do that and you don't necessarily need to be an admin to do that.

1 easier profile editing with more options for everyone thx
like, a complete overhaul. pretty sure that's in the works but i really want like n interactive profile editor where you can see the changes as you make them and drag stuff around and make it -yours-. keep everything else the same- profile pic sizes & bg images dependant on status- but also have a limited selection of textures or generic bg images that regular members can apply.
with that overhaul have blogs and emblems shown off and more integrated into the profile so they're more easily seen. with blogs, have the ability to comment right there on the profile without having to go to another page.

2 emblem rehaul. ♥♥♥♥ participation emblems unless you did a decent amount of participating. clean up dat modcp page. more re-useable emblems. no year-specific emblems. make them worth collecting.

3 multi-person vm convos or invite-only "threads" on a profile; still visible to the public but so participants can add others into the conversation, housed on the profile of the person it was originally sent to or something. and reply-all to multi-party PMs. good god pls why is that not already a thing.

4 likes on blogs, blog comments, and vms. multiquote in blogs.

5 post comments back on for everyone all the time. getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ comments? talk to staff or quit whining. they dont even give you a notification. (actually, i'd like a notification for that)

Auto-Save on quick replies. I know it's possible that you have to upgrade to the new vBulletin in order to have this but I really want to see this happening really soon. I'm tired of writing a tl;dr on quick reply and not being able to save it on time when I refresh the page accidentally. I also don't have the habit on saving posts on a word doc, so that's also my faunt on my end.

I already have been a Admin for another Pokemon Forums & a Moderator as well a few times. The knowledge that would come with this I already have. As far as what I would change I can't really say or decide at this point of time due to being out of tack with the community and what's going on around here for a few months. From eye level on what I see currently with PC though I think I would reevaluate a couple staff duties and I would take a look back at Supporter Status, Bringing back the old system or using the current system with rank images & group colors.

1) Autosave on quick replies
2) Likes on blogs, multi quotes on blogs
3) Abolish all emblems - implement new achievement system of some sort. Badges perhaps.
4) Remove 4/25 rule in certain sections AKA General Chat
5) Increase profile customization -- greater freedom.
6) Force fellow admins and the rest of hstaff to increase their presence in the non-staff relate boards.

Also, like what he said above I'd definitely remove the character limit as well, because every time I post in C&M's "What Are You Listening To? thread I am like forced into writing extra stuff that I didn't want to stick there. And of course I'd implement likes on the blogs.

I'd make SHENANIGANS a purple admin alongside me so i could pass off blame when i break things. i love you

I'd also staff a few people that I have in the back of my mind whom I think would make excellent staff members!

I'd remove the 4/25 rule for General Chat.

I'd rename General Chat back to Chit Chat Cafe.(sorry I love the name GC, but CCC was special to me!)

I'd make the AMA forum public since it is super dead and serving very little purpose as of now.

I'd revamp the emblem system into a more meaningful reward system, such as smogon badges or something to that nature.

a lot more things i cannot think of at the moment.
