Quick Question and Answer Thread / Breeding Questions

yes I am and the stats that I want are both attack and defense
Alright well Impish and Adamant would both be good natures for those stats for Garchomp. An Impish nature raises Defense and lowers Special Attack and an Adamant nature raises Attack and lowers Special Attack as well.

You don't need to battle Pokemon near your Pokemon's level to gain EVs. Besides, if it already evolved though battling and you haven't use the EV reduction berries on it yet (Pomeg through Tamato), then it is likely already too late (unless you use those berries on it) since it would've gained all of its EVs because EVs are gained whenever experience in battle is.

Battling the Machoke (Attack EVs), Graveler, Onix, and Steelix (Defense) in Victory road is an alternative to Bibarel and Kricketune.

What do you guys think is better? Starmie or Lapras? I prefer Lapras since it's bulkier and can still BoltBeam.

Which pokémon should I chain? I only have 31 spaces in my PC... Usually, I chain 4-7 of each pokémon (It's a waste to only catch one...). So which and how many of each should I chain?
So here are my choices...

Buizel - Chained it before, but wasn't able to get a shiny...

Wingull - I kinda like its greeniness... But it's kinda weak...

Bagon - Have one from trade, but it would be nice if I get more...

Bonsly - People may think its shiny form looks rotten... But It looks like a cherry tree to me... I like it, but I'm having difficulty chaining this...

Hopip - Also difficult to chain... But area of chaining is better compared to ralt's... Guess I can do it...

Mareep - I have shiny Flaafy, not sure if I'd chain this... But I like the color...

Abra - Risky... (After hardwork... TELEPORT! and not sure if this one is actually good)

More ralts? - I have more than 12.... But it's my fave! T_T

Taurus - Mine is Pearl version... So difficult to get this... Failed thrice already...

Stantler - Its a pearl exclusive!

Budew- a bit too common...

Smeargle - Failed a lot of times already and I'm not sure if I actually want it...

Ditto - I don't think I can do this one... T_T

Misdreavus - Already have one... Just one...

Buneary - Have one... But it's a Klutz....

Tyrogue - I'm not really a fan of fighting types...

Azurill - CUTE! But area is terrible for chaining...

Eevee - Already have one. But area is also bad for chaining and it's difficult to find...

Farfetch'D - Successfully chained twice, NOT A SINGLE SHINY!!!

Psyduck - ... Psy?

Slopoke - Color change is boring...

Dunsparce - I get bored chaining this one...

Thanks for the replies guys! So Starmie is for quick sweeping. And Lapras is mostly for staying in longer?
To me Starmie seems too fragile.

Are there any other BoltBeamers?

Thanks! I'll stick with Lapras.

@Shiny Gardevoir

Something easy, maybe? Like Shinx or Flaaffy with a Static pokemon. Or Bidoof (at night) if you aren't one of the haters. =P

About the legendaries respawning..

Does that count for the Psychic trio(actually duo because of Mesprit being a 'running around' pokémon)? (Azelf, Uxie)

Cool :) I killed Azelf :(
