Yahoo Answers is set to shut down forever after May 4.

Man, I don't know how to feel about that. How about you? What memories (or memes, we can go that route) do you remember about Yahoo Answers? Let's talk.

Not that I'm a fan - there is some truly awful stuff on there - but that was pretty much the only relevancy Yahoo had left.

At least search results will be a little less cluttered now.

When I was 13 me and another select few group of people would hang out in the "pro wrestling" questions section. We formed our own small tight-knit community.

Wasted Time. I wish I could go back in a time machine and tell myself to waste my time on a better website at least.

rip to all those stupid pokemon questions that were on yahoo answers like that one person who asked if their game was glitched because their mudkip was purple

...I'm a little sad to hear about this? Yahoo Answers had some really funny questions. Quora just never did it for me, I hope that even though it's being shut down, that they at least... preserve the answers in a viewable archive? If not, I hope they'll be preserved by the Wayback Machine, at least.

Same, not a fan of Quora restricting you to viewing one question without an account. At least with Yahoo Answers didn't require accounts to look at questions.

So many years of asking stupid questions and getting stupid answers as a young teenager 😞
I was really hoping they'd just close it down to new questions/answers and still leave up the old stuff, because it really is a gold mine sometimes. Here's hoping someone archives the whole thing before it gets removed completely.
