When put in an area like Silph Co. or Rock Tunnel, do you roam around looking for items? Or do you cut to the chase and leave as soon as possible.

I normally am Fast-Paced, but I'm currently looking around Silph Co before I finish everything to see if there's any good items for me to get.

I take my time exploring the place before I move on, so I guess I'm a roamer. I want to find everything and clear everything so that way I don't have to return later in the game. It's too much effort, ya know what I mean? xD

I used to be fast-paced, but now I take my time exploring places to make sure that I don't miss anything. So, I'm guessing this makes me a roamer? Haha.

The rest of my friends think I'm crazy, but I make sure to explore every house, talk to every person, and check every trash can wherever I go. People say "That takes too long and is too boring," but then I'm the one who always ends up telling them where to find that item they missed. One friend of mine went through the whole game without having found the Amulet Coin in Y! o_O

It's an RPG. You're supposed to go around and explore everything, at least in my opinion. Try playing any game in the Elder Scrolls series without exploring. You'll miss out on 50% of the quests. xD

I guess I'm a roamer, up to a certain point. It sorta stems from a slight paranoia that I'll miss a really good item if I don't look around enough. But if the place is too big or its too much work to get that item hiding over there, I won't go for it.

I do occasionally blitz places, though.

If it's my first playthrough, then i'll probably be a roamer.

But if i'm trying to zip through the game as quickly as possible, then i'll likely try to get out of there after getting everything I may need. And sometimes i'll do that in Nuzlockes if there are trainers that have me concerned.

I always used to be a fast-paced player in the Pokemon games, trying to get things done as quickly as possible, without exploring the routes, cities, etc. Once I got into HeartGold though, I made an effort to search carefully through the routes for Pokemon, hidden items and other trainers to battle, and I've made a habit of going into every building and talking to each NPC I find, just in case they've got a helpful tip or an item to give me. Sure, it takes me a little longer to get through games now, but I find that I actually enjoy them more.

It depends on the area. If I'm low on health, no items and have one foot in the grave, I try to get through as fast as I can. Otherwise, I take my sweet time in every area looking for hidden items.

I hate exploring caves. It's really detrimental to speed through though since I always hate having to go back to get TMs or the important items. Usually though, on the first visit, I don't have Repels, so roaming around isn't very pleasant. As for buildings and cities, there's wayyy too many places to explore.

Usually I just go through caves as quick as I can. But if I wanna go exploring I use a crap ton of repels so I don't go running into Zubats.
When I do challenges, I mostly do it fast paced unless I know there's an item I know that I want. I'm a big roamer during post-game tho.

When I'm in dungeons or large buildings, I usually roam around and grab every item that I can, as well as defeat each of the trainers stationed in the dungeon/building. However, every now and then, I will leave the place and go back to the nearest Pokémon Center to heal, then reenter and restart where I left off, repeating the process until I reach the end of the dungeon or the mission is completed.

I would definitely say I'm a roamer. I started my first game in Y 3 weeks ago and I'm still only in Camphrier Town and only have one badge. A lot of people I know would be half way done with the game at this point, but I really like taking Pokemon games slow. I explore every corner of a town and visit each house. In caves I usually doesn't spend as much time in cause I get annoyed by the wild Pokemon constantly running in front of me. I still do some exploring in caves though. I just want to make the game last as long as I want and remember the experience.

I leave no stone unturned, I also return to areas when I have a certain HM or requirement fulfilled to enter a new part of the area. I also catch every Pokemon available, even if it has a 5% or under encounter rate!

Well, I think it largely depends on what game it is.. In pokemon Terms, X/Y barely had places big enough to "roam around" , a lot of it was sort of dependent if you had a guy with cut on you at the time, or had a high enough fashion points or something dumb. Take it back a few gens, most of the time I find the rewards of roaming not really to be worth it.. like Mount Moon, for example. Sure, there's hidden potions and escape ropes in the place.. but you can buy those. I personally, would rather not wade through tons of Geodudes and Zubats just to get at the damn things. I don't like wasting my time looking for trivial junk I can find just the town over. To be honest, I rarely use items at all unless I'm doing the Elite Four gauntlet run.. thats the only time.

If it's something important, I usually save it to the end when the need arises.. like TMs, or hold items.. but those are kind of situational..

I am a roamer as well - I take my time exploring, battling every trainer I come across, I even go back 2 or 3 times just in case I missed anything (I'll save often too).

The only areas I'll have to skip are the ones that require an HM to get too and can't obtain at the moment of exploration - once I have HM I will go back and explore the missed areas.

Usually in the first half of the game (depends on which game), I roam around and explore as much as I can, because items found in first half of the games are not as useful to find later. When I get towards finishing about half of the game (around 4th or 5th gym), I just pace through to the end and worry about items later. I do try to fight every trainer I can, though.

Hm, well I'm a fast-paced roamer if you could call it as such. I like to explore everything and ensure I don't miss out any good stuff and hidden Easter eggs, but I also don't want to waste time so I look quickly and if there's nothing else, I scoot off. x3
