    [PokeCommunity.com] SANTAAAA OMG!!!!

So, how old were you when you stopped believing in Santa? What were your feelings when you were told or found out he wasn't real anymore? Do you still pretend to believe in him when younger kids around?

I have to admit... when my parents told me, I was rather distressed for a while. It ruined Christmas for me for a while because I admired him, but I started to slowly accept the reality after a while. I do still pretend to believe in him for the kids. It's not my place to tell them Santa isn't real, and it's hard to tell a kid this at a young age. It's best for the parents or for them to find out for themselves as they mature.

When I was 8 and my brother showed me all the presents :c

I figured it out when I was about 7, but didn't tell my parents I had until I was older, maybe 10-11ish. I have a 9-year old sister and I have to be careful not to "spoil it" for her.

don't ruin it for the yungins :(
i'm sure my mom had no intentions of ever telling me he didn't exist. my friend carlos ruined it for me then my older brother confirmed it. i didn't tell my parents i stopped believing until like 7th grade lmao, i thought i'd stop getting gifts

I was like... 5? I don't remember believing in Santa no matter how much my family talked about him lol

Maybe because it was around that age that I busted my parents putting the presents under the tree themselves lmao

Probably when I was around midway through high school, so 17 maybe? I haven't even been having a proper Christmas for four years now which has been lacking a Christmas tree and heck, sometimes not even the food you'd expect a Christmas dinner to have.

I don't even remember the age I was. Still pretty young, maybe closer to like 9 or 10 though if I had to guess. But one christmas eve, I ended up helping my parents set out all the presents underneath the tree. They asked for helped, which they usually didn't do. And doing that, and yet not seeing anything else magically appearing under the tree the next morning - well, if I still had any belief at that time, then doing this pretty much got rid of the rest of it. My reaction was along the lines of "oh, okay, so that's how it actually is, huh". Which is funny, because I was also the same kid who, back in first grade, got really upset at another kid for insisting to me that Santa didn't exist. Or something like that.

Though we still did "from Santa" presents for years after that, hah. Even though we knew they weren't actually from Santa, they still tended to be the kind of presents us kids really wanted, so there was still some excitement and mystery involved upon seeing them. Fun times.

Later than I care to admit. My parents told me when I was probably around like 16. It didn't really bother me, as I had a feeling.

I definitely still pretend he is real around my little cousins. I have two young ones that try to catch him every year haha.

as far as i remember my parents always made it clear santa didn't exist

    no fun allowed
