i did this one report for him in spanish and he was so happy! he was like, "Oh! Miss Campos (man do i hate that name! my last name is not campos!) thank you. This is so good!" stuff like that. i just used my dictionary to translate the whole thing!

spanish and italian are very similar. i grew up hearing italian and i thinnk that's why i'm good at foreign languages. plus i took italian classes from 4th-6th grade... but those are some more bad memories...

I use a dictionary also but usually my essays turn out getting messed up. My spanish teacher gave me an f on every essay I did because he said he couldn't understand it. When I gave it to my spanish friend to read, he said the essay was good. o.o

How many languages do you know?

i get my report card on wednesday

my teacher keeps saying im doing really good and actually catching up to the class but now he says that i need to
WORK harder on my tests! my last test mark was 20/22!

geeee.....teachers tell us to grow up....what bout them?

I have never taken German, cause it is not an option here, here in Canada the only languages we can learn are Spanish and English, I'm pretty sure that there are no other languages that we are able to learn.

I can't, but I can say a few Spanish words, since I took Spanish 1 last year. I'm taking Spanish 2 next year. All we have is French, German, and Spanish in my school too. :P

I think I'm a more than a trilingual. I know English (of course :P), Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Italian and a little Spanish. But I don't even know one German word. :P

Today in school I mixed around my whole schedule because I was switching 2 of my classes to applied. The new schedule didn't start until the afternoon, but when Science came it was EASY!! We hardly did anything really, and the work is simple, so I am really glad I made this change bbecause it means I will have less homework. :D

yes you should learn French Dragontrainer... then i know who to ask if i have homework =)

easier classes are always nice... but always keep in mind of what's best for you (if you have a choice of things) not just the easiness... like if you're not learning anything at all for a long amount of time, you may consider doing something about it

Here in B.C. Canada we have to learn french in grade 8(which I am in). I cant stand french i wish i could learn something usefull like Japanese! O well. Have any of you had a teacher that was so angry and mean that they yelled at someone when they coughed? Thats the kind of french teacher I had today in French. Man I couldnt beleive it when she yelled at another teacher. Has anyone ever had a really mean teacher who seriously needs anger managment fast?

I wanted to learn French instead of Spanish but nooo... >_>; I'd actually enjoy French, but Spanish...? Ehh. I think French is much more elegant and romantic, which would drive me to want to learnit. Oh well ._.;

Didn't you have a choice of Spanish or French? or do they choose...

My school has a choice between french, german, and spanish.Since I already know spanish, and speak it quite fluently, I chose french. They say that once you know spanish, it becomes quite easy to learn french and italian, since both of those languages are based from spanish

well, i know three but i can only speak two. english, spanish, and italian. i can somewhat speak spanish. but italian... i can't speak it but i can sing in it! and i understand it fine too. well sorta. i understand the sicilian dialect of italian. my grandmother speaks it all the time so i grew up hearing it. i took italian for 3 years in after school in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. we never really learned much though. we would spend the first month learning stuff... the the laday who was in charge would have us practice for the christmas pageant. i got to be Mary once too! but i got stuck with a baby who actually cried and the guy who ended up playing Joseph really didn't help me out much. well right after the christmas play was over we would start practicing for spring! i hated that. we would do the same songs and dances every year so why should the older kids who had done them before be taken out of class to relearn it? she knew that we knew the stuff too. she would have me and my friend sing the solos in all the songs. (i can't believe i actually sang solos! in Italian!) well, i guess i can speak some italian then... but not a whole lot. my grandmother does speak english too so i never had the need to speak to her in italian.

so yeah, i guess i'm trilingual then.

That's sorta like the same problem I have.
My grandma used to talk a whole lot of Vietnamese when I was little. I understood perfectly what people were talking about. But I can't even say one word. Well, I know a little but when I try speaking it, my parents crack up! I guess don't have an accent for Vietnamese. But I know the other four languages pretty well.

By the way, what do you call a person that know 5 languages. Just wonderin...:P

.....well, I got to see one of my teachers so a handstand in school today.
......that was pretty interesting hehe......

Well that's interesting... yeah. I remember my 3rd grade teacher used to get up on the table and tap dance when we would sing "Yankee Doodle Boy" after morning announcements. But I have never seen any teacher do a handstand...
