School Chit-Chat

Wow, I had a period delay. There was a lot of pushing a shoving in the halls and it got packed with people. A lot of people fell down and there were people that were stepping all over them. Then my teacher had to send a lot of people to the nurse. Luckily, I knew how to penetrate through traffic so I didn't get hurt.

Utter chaos in history class today...our teacher was out and the sub (who was some young crazy guy who seemed to know the kids who act up pretty well) let the kids do whatever they wanted, which meant the kids just went crazy...there's such a bad mix of kids in there that there was all sorts of madness going on all period, and of course I just laid my head on my desk and tried to not be annoyed by everyone...I never thought I'd say this, but I wish my history teacher would come back so we'd learn some history...

So it's time for the daily good news/bad news...

Good news: Friday's here

Bad News: I have enough homework over the weekend to officially ruin it.

Yes, Pok?mon is on at 8 on Sunday mornings here in Connecticut. Why? I don't know. It's been that way since around 2000. They air The Celebration of the Eucharist at 10 both Saturday and Sunday.

Today I had a 90 minute delay!!! I was so happy. We didn't have full length classes all week! I didn't even know it was going to snow this morning.

Remember my civics mock-trial? Well, today we found out the results. I lost mine... but I saw that coming. I mean, one of the girls on the opposing side was a senior in a sophomore class and she was on the debate team. One thing that was funny was in one of the other cases one of the guys on the BOE kept shouting out "DUE PROCESS!" He didn't even know what due process was but he kept trying to make a point using it. My teacher keeps making fun of him for it too...

I got my class ring today too... we were supposed to get them on Tuesday but it was a half day and we needed to get them during lunch periods. I like mine. It has my birthstone on it and around it, it says Wethersfield H.S. On one side it says 2006 and has an eagle and on the other side it says Ashley and has a volleyball with the number 4 in it. It's really pretty in antiqued white gold...
It's always been 10 am on Saturday moring here.
....yup, the highlight of my weekend! Hehe...

*confused*
90 minute delay? Huh?
If it has to do with snow, I've never gone to school while it was snowing, (partly becasue I live in Florida hehe) so I'm kinda confused about what you meant hehe....
Did you go to school later by any chance?

Whenever we did the mock trials, I was in the jury, so I never really did that much hehe......a senior in a sophmore class? I can see how that could be unfair. I guess the teacher can't leave her out though!
...I kinda forgot what due process meant too. I'm just happy I'm done with civics for now!

That sounds really nice Snowangel! Nice ring!
I'm suprised you're getting them in 10th grade though. Isn't that rather early?
I'm glad to see you're happy though!

Looks like you three, PM10000, Chairman Kaga, and Ice Master, have been having a pretty rough day hehe...

I almost got into the same situation. I was playing basketball but the person that was defending me kept on holding on to my hands so I couldn't dribble. I crossed over him and he called foul on me while it was so suppose to be foul on him. He got mad at me and started throwing the ball hard at me. But I caught it which made him even madder. Eventually he never played in the same court as me anymore.

Pok?mon used to be on Saturdays at 10 like it is everywhere else but then one year they changed it...

Yeah, a 90 minute delay has to do with snow... and yes it means I went into school 90 minutes later than normal. Delays are the best... you get to sleep later and don't have to make it up in the summer! It's kinda like a half day... but backwards!

The senior is in my class because when she was a sophomore she moved to Ireland. I know this because her brother is my age and in 8th grade he was in my socal studies class. One day he left and not even the teacher knew where he had gone. One guy said he either moved or died...then one day one of the guys in my class got a phone call from him saying he moved to Ireland... the call was like, a few months later... but he eventually came back at the end of the year. So the trial was a little unfair.

I don't really know what due process is either... but it was really funny hearing him shout when he didn't even know what it was. And yet somehow they managed to win their case... go figure!

You get class rings sophomore year... I don't know why but you do. Or at least we do. I may be happy about it now that I just got it... but my guess is in a month I won't wear it anymore...

Got me suspened....AGAIN!! 5th time this year....man i got into a really big fight becasue some people were messing with two of my friends and me and some other of my friends jumped into help and then all heck broke lose...now i have a really big black eye and bumps and brusies all over my body....i only beat 4 of the guy's...as in knocked them out becuase it was 6 against almost 20....these kids really ganged up on my friends

Sorry to hear that blue.
People don't mess with me because they know they'll get beat up. :P Just kidding.

But no one does bothers with me. It's wierd because I look like a kid that's really easy to pick on. They know the evil I have done...hehe.

Class rings? I got mine in December, and it's huge...I hate it -.- It's clunky and annoying to wear and people are always wanting to see it, and I'm like the only guy who hasn't given his away to their girlfriend (because of my lack of a girlfriend V_V ) It's an emblem of my years in school and I hate any sort of emblem that has to do with school. I have my letter and plenty of pins for a sweater but I'll never display them. I usually throw away certificates and awards I get, and I hate to be publicly recognized for anything...but since my parents paid for my class ring, I wear it anyway.

Hmm, I think I found the reason why not many people pick on me. It's probaly because I'm nice to them and all. My friend gets picked on all the time but when I tell them to stop, they stop. It so wierd... o.O

We could get class rings but I wasn't able to. There were only 200 forms for like 300 10th graders.

Not much happened in school today for me. We had a test in Biology on fish and amphibians. Also, our boys basketball team is going to state in the playoffs. :P
