Does anyone else have experience finding shiny pokemon in the rustling grass randomly? Is the experience I am describing indeed something rare that can happen with the pokeradar? Shiny pokemon in regular moving grass tiles, no sparkles in the overworld? I haven't been able to find a lot of documentation about this, but there isn't as much copious info on the pokeradar in general since it's not quite as popular as some of the other gen 6 shiny hunting methods like friend safari, chain fishing, Dexnav or masuda. Just because I haven't read about it doesn't mean it's not true. Please tell me I'm not crazy y'all. I couldn't have imagined this.
I haven't in Gen. 6, but I think a Shiny Chingling that I found while chaining in Gen. 4 came from non-sparkling grass. Can't say for certain though since I don't record my hunts. However, I did see someone on YouTube get a Shiny Kirlia in Gen. 4 from a non-Shiny patch. I assume the same can happen in Gen. 6, and that the Shiny rate from these patches is the same as finding a random Shiny.
RIP Shiny Weepinbell... :(
