3rd Gen Shiny Pokemon Discussion

I only have one shiny, a gray Slugma. I've seen the picture of a shiny Marcargo, and I dont think it is as good as the Slugma so I'm not going to evolve it. By the way I got it in that tunnel Team Rocket digs after you get the National Dex.
 
i like the shiny macargo more than the slugma
 
useing a gameshark sp is ther a code for shiny pokemon in ruby.

I was playing my first Silver Version game, and I was right below the lake of rage. I ran into a purple dog Pokemon, and I didn't know what a Shiny was, so I ignored the sparkles. I had nothing but one stinkin' Pokeball left, so I threw it AND ACTUALLY CAUGHT IT. I named it Suicie. After I found out what shinies were, i was really happy ^^.

The other shinies I have, in catching order, are Gyarados (Redragee), Unown (Blue), Ursaring (Silverest), Zigzagoon/Linoone (Redskin), Meowth/Persian (Sparklepaw), another Meowth that didn't evolve yet (Magicpaw), Rayquaza (Chromesky), Golbat/Crobat (Rosewing), and Torchic/Combusken/Blaziken (Redbaron).

Took me almost forever to get all of 'em.

What is the stat differance between shinies and normals on silver and gold?I caught a shinie poliwag on silver.
 
There is no stat difference. They're just another colour and very rare.

In GSC, a shiny Pokemon is one with an IV of 10 in Defense, Speed, Special Attack, and Special Defense. The Attack IV can be from 10 to 15, however. And note that this is the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald Shiny Thread, not the Gold/Silver/Crystal one.
 
i've been playing pokemon games for a long time and every time i would find a shiny pokemon that would like be the only time i would find 1 so i wanna know could u find more shiny pokemon in 1 game
 
And Now I have 3 more shinies!! I feel special...

Umbreon (Was a Shiny Eevee I got from the Celadon Mansion... named Turquoise.)

Dratini (Topaz, just hatched, level 5 female)

Ditto (From Blue ditto trick. I finally decided to replay my r/b/y/g/s/c versions.)

i dont really know whats so special about shiny pokemon. r there stats raised or something? and ive never caught 1
 
there a different colour many people call them pokemon with raised stats but thats not true there as normal as any other pokemon just differntly coloured Bam
 
HeY..guYs..i'm New...i only hav shiny mukuhita , altaria and Mightyena...hehehx :D only..now still try to find shiny rayquaza..for 2 days :dead: ...any1 hav shiny raquaza here? ?? :bandit:

yah there is. go to the emerald code thread and find it. i put it there. it' s between the last and 4th to last page.
