3rd Gen Shiny Pokemon Discussion

I've seen only three shinys in my life (two in my Gold : Gyarados and Miltank, and one in my Emerald: Sharkpedo)

Wow what a dumbass. Dont cheat to get shiny that is the worst idea ever. Cause what do you have to show for it. A shiny hunted is better then a shiny cheated. Cause when someone asks you how you got that shiny and you are like I cheated they are going to be like wow what a loser. A shiny that is through a lot of hard work to get is more valueable then a shiny cheated.

you are 100% correct. a cheat is worth no honor at all. in ur world sam@strand, it may be. but only an idiot would think that. like, WTF!?!? ok, your friend must be proud to have an AR system and all, but i will NOT get one of those contraptions. why? because it IS cheating.

I have seen only to shiny pokemon on any games, and of course captured both. The first was on Emerald and was a black Raquayza and the second is the Geodude (well now Graveler) on Diamond.

my rarest Shiny (after reset on my Rubi) would be a shiny Chimecho - whats very lucky and rare is, it was the first chimecho i saw (well, not really, since i kept on restarting everytime i got a normal one)

Still havent found that shiney Zapdos, been nnearly 2 months, and even if I do i might not be able to catch it, I have 1 Master Ball (for Suicune) and 44 Ultra Balls.

Should I give up or keep trying?

Well, guys, I've gotten my shiny Chimchar. Now I'm only one shiny Pokemon away from doing something know one's ever done. Getting all the fire starters shiny. So, I will be hunting for Cyndaquil on my Emerald2 and Emerald1. I'll continue to hunt for Latias on Ruby. I won't be able to hunt much at all though, I'll be too busy hunting on Diamond (like I am now, lol). Wish me luck. I hope I get one with a Hasty nature.

Oh, yeah, did I tell you all that I got a shiny Registeel a couple of weeks ago? It has a Gentle nature, like my shiny Torchic (now Blaziken) has.

You should keep going, it's a pain in the ass but when you start the battle and the stars fly the feeling is incredible.

The only Shiny I ever got to catch was when I was exploring through Meteor Falls (Pokemon Ruby). I had kept on encountering Zubats and Solrocks. Then I encountered a Zubat (It was a shiny). I was like, "Holy Cow, I can't believe this,". It was a Brown Zubat then it evolved into a Brown Golbat and Now it's a Level 67 Pink Crobat!

i have 5 shinies on my games but i havent caught them all (only one lol)
the 1st one found my little bro who was just running around under the volcano in sapphire....it was a numel =q...
the 2nd one caught a friend of mine, while he was hp training, a shiny whismur!1
the 3rd one was a green wingull =D caught by my bro again
the 4th....yeah my bro lol wtf...lux0r...a golden pochyena
and the 5th found I when def ev training at magma hideaout in emerald, a yellow geodude lol

my bro doesnt play the game as much as i do, but he has more luck...
i spent alot of time for breeding to get shinies
i have bred:
700+ralts
500+mareep
400+eevee
200+trapinch

but none of them were shiny q_q...

Either you're lying or you have a bad memory because you could not run away from shinies in G/S/C, I know that for a fact. Maybe it fled from you?

Lol, you got me on the "No" part, but you really can't say that I don't have good English when you can't even type out "you" or use capital letters. I also don't believe that you have gotten all the fire starter shinies. I haven't seen ONE of your posts in the DP section claiming that you have a shiny Chimchar, and you never even told us what shinies you have! You also have no proof of your shinies captures; I do.
