Best Water-type starter generation?

(Basically, what region has the best Water-type starter)

I like Sinnoh. Empoleon is good with Water and Steel

well its because piplup evoles into prinplip and then into empoleon and its stats are good and the attacks such as hydro pump and hydro cannon are powerful against the openent

I like Swampert because of the moves it can learn, Mud shot and Earthquake.

As for your question *~Sweet Dawn~*, I'd say Jhoto. Totodile & it's evolutions are very strong. & Feraligatr can learn dragon-type moves! ^^

I liked Cyndaquil from the Johto series. I hated Chikorita, but Totodile was okay. I didn't like him nor hate him

I hated Chikorita because the first two Gym Leaders (and Morty) does awful. I always start with the Water-type because every region's 1st Gym (except for Johto, which is Flying) is Rock

Yea thats true. :/ I don't get the big off course type in Jhoto...*shrug* but I've always started off with a water-type because they are just uber-kawaii! ^^

I've always started with the water-type because it's the easiest to start with and I won't have to catch another Water-type and train it. Plus, it doubles as my Surfer
