[Wichu]

The arm looks a little strange, and he has no shoulders. The feet look odd too. Otherwise, great first sprite! Give him well-defined shoulders and elbows, and change the angles of his feet.

Anyway, a sprite of the professor in my game:

Any criticism?
EDIT: I know the back foot looks odd.

The arm is VERY small, and just looks plain odd.. Other then that, I love it :)

To the one above me: His/her right leg looks WAY too long compared to his/her left one, and his/her left arm looks very short compared to his/her right one <.<;; In other words, he looks shrunken on our right, but his left.

well, i was going foir the look of a scrawny kid. thats probably why his arms look so small.
and yeah, i didnt really like doing the feet =/
but do you think its alright for my first sprite?

but i would squint the eyes a lil more.


heres a %100 scratch. taking maybe 45 minutes.
hes to tall... lol.
and his face is weird. please tell me wat y think =)

o, and next time i plan on toning down the dithering. and making his coat bigger lol (i noticed that after i uploaded it )

I'm not a spriter. NIN used riolu as base and I did some recoloring. His was brown and had a little better shading.

Thin the outlines down to 1 pixel all around.
Also, shade it a bit more.

hey people got some new sprites

the trainers from rise of darkrai...and gaara

i also have alice

I like the first three (though I haven't seen Palkia vs. Dialga vs. Darkrai), but something about the Gaara one throws me off a bit. His left foot looks kind of off, and the Sand Gourd doesn't seem to line up properly. The shading looks great though, and that's all I can say. Also, who is Alice?

Also, I'd like it if somebody could critique the positioning of the guy in my sprite. I wanna make sure that's done properly before I shade it in (which I am aware needs to be heavily reworked on)

i edited my 2nd scratch. i made him shorter and toned down the dithering.

Much better, you see now for a first trainer sprite it aint bad at all, and it's also a scratch, so you can be proud of yourself. now it's time to give the clothes some detail.
Just take a good look at the shirt or whatever your wearing, check out how it's shaded, i always do it like that if i need to sprite or draw something with clothes on :P

I made like ton's of fakemons scratch.
But never did i make a trainer, wel so here's my first one..



The only thing i didn't scratch is his right hand..
Pls crit this so i can get better at making trainers

the only thing i dont like is the guy, his skin looks really pale. but other than that they're good =)
