Jack, if anything, is not shaped for his line of work. He's rather small, standing at 5'7, and weighs in at around 115 pounds. Definitely not a powerhouse. But the years that he's spent hunting and training have given him a rather wiry strength. Despite his slim features, he has a strength hidden within his body that can stand up to some of the more advanced hunters. He has fair skin, bordering on pale, and a rather clean complexion for a teenager. Jack's face isn't quite angular, but it isn't round. His chin juts out a little farther than most chins, and his nose is larger than most noses. His deep hazel eyes can be seen shining on most days. His short light brown hair typically never goes past his ears. While he isn't a necessarily neat person, he almost always makes sure to keep his hair brushed back in a 1940's fashion.

Jack's decay has only begun recently, but it's very noticeable. To those who can see his true form, they will see that both of his arms are coated in thick, pus colored scales and his legs are encased in solid rock. His torso is twisted and his head's skin is bone dry, while a pair of horns protrude from his head.

Jack's apparel typically consists of darker shades of jeans, khaki cargo shorts, and various colors of the same exact shirt, a plain, imageless t-shirt. He doesn't really dress for missions. He really tends to focus on comfortability and his own style instead of utility or armor. Many different things can be found in his cargo short pockets. He's rather fond of them.

HISTORY:
"Sit down, and let old Jack tell you a story."
Jack was introduced to demon hunting at a young age. He was born into a family of hunters, and he was raised as a hunter. His father, a considerably powerful strider, and his mother, a well-known beater, started to teach him the basics of monster hunting from the moment he could talk. For the first seven years of his life, Jack had never left his home in Jemez, New Mexico. He was home-schooled, of course, and his typical classes included basic education, and the theory of demon hunting. And he loved it. Jack took to demon hunting well. His easily-excited personality was always eager to do some good in the world and slay a demon or two.

Jack was taken on his first hunt at the age of twelve. Although he was merely functioning as a weapon carrier, he loved the experience of watching his parents slay a fire demon. He was allowed to participate in his first hunt mere months later. He had used both a melee weapon and a ranged weapon, both with equal skill, considering that his parents had trained him in their respective weapon skills. Proving to be a great asset, he was taken on all sorts of hunts for the next few years.

At the age of sixteen, his parents had convinced the Order of the Morning Star to let their son join. Jack took part in his first official hunt in the first month after signing up. He proved himself to the superiors on the mission after leading a diversionary squad around a massive earth demon. He would go on dozens of missions, and at the age of seventeen he killed his first demon, striking his first kill shot. Although he had finally received the fatal Decay, he was excited that he had reached such a milestone.

FIRST DEMON SLAYED:
"That dirty, disgusting rot demon..."

The first demon that Jack had slayed was a rot demon of considerable strength. Jack and a group of hunters had closed in around it, but a sudden burst of poison had left most of them out of commission. Jack took advantage of the demon's lethargy and plunged forward with a spear, impaling it straight through.

Jack groaned as he flew across the room, coming to a skidding halt as he landed on his feet mere feet from the wall. Well, that hurt like a b!tch. He groaned again as he drew his longsword in one hand, his pistol in the other. "Alright, buddy. Let's go." He looked to the rage demon a few yards from him and grinned. "I've got plans." He charged forward, firing his pistol rapidly.

The demon, although a minor demon that was shaped like a pig-man, was fast. He dodged each shot fired and ran towards his opponent. It let out a horrible squealing noise as he leaped into the air, apparently throwing caution into the wind.

Jack had dealt with all kinds of attacks like this, and he knew exactly how he was gonna end it. He sidestepped the vicious assault, causing the demon to come crashing onto the ground. Apparently it had thought that Jack would've taken the full blunt force of the attack. "Sorry, Mr. Piggy..." As intelligent as Jack was, he was not good with names. AT ALL. "It's time to go to the barbecue."

BANG! BANG1 BANG! BANG! BANG! The horrible squealing noise filled the abandoned school building, followed by a light-hearted, "SUCK IT!" BANG BANG BANG! "I WIN!" BANG! "Crap...I gotta reload."

It had only been a day since the assault on the cultist base, but Jack was raring to go on another adventure. "Come on, boss! You have to have a mission for me!" He shouted, slamming his hand down the desk in his contact's office. "Please give me a job!" The exasperated look on his face all but told the man that he was bored, but at the same time excited. A very confusing facial expression, really.

"Sorry, Jack. There's nothing to do right now. I think you might just have to relax and, well, you know, not kill things." The older man chuckled as he brushed the white hair from your face. "Listen, kid. you've been pretty busy. You have to take a rest at some point." He started packing up his suitcase. "And it's TIME TO GO HOME." He chuckled. "I figured that you'd know better than to come in five minutes before close."

Jack groaned and leaned back, causing the chair he was sitting in to tip over. "OH SH-" He shouted as he fell over, followed by a loud CLUNK. He stood up, setting the chair back on its four legs. "Come on, Rowan. You knew my parents like, forever. There HAS to be a way that you can give me a job!" He laughed a little and rubbed a sore spot on the back of his head. Maybe even demon hunters can get concussions...He thought to himself.

Rowan laughed a bit more. "You know, Jack, if you weren't so excited about hunting, I'd think that you wouldn't talk. The old contact stroked his moustache, smiling. "I remember when you were about ye' tall." He held his hand waist high. "I tried getting you to talk for thirty minutes...And no dice."

"Come on, Rowan." Jack blushed a little, his eagerness seeming to break down a little. "Don't go telling stories like that."

"Oh, no!" The old man grinned. "You deserve it!" He cackled with laughter. "The second that I mentioned I help hunt demons, you wouldn't shut up."

Jack laughed and clapped the older man on the shoulder. "Well, it was good seeing you, Rowan."

"And you too, Jack." The pair made their way outside. "You take care of yourself out there. Demons aren't what they used to be."

"Yeah, yeah. I know." Jack laughed. "I'll see you, old timer."

Jack yawned as he looked around the food hall. It had seemed that there weren't many demon hunters before eight AM. He looked to one of the only hunters in the room, sitting right across from him. The middle-aged man laughed. "We've been here for like an hour, and you haven't said a word." He sipped at a cup of orange juice and took a bite from his fork. Waffles for the man.

Jack simply yawned and nodded, taking a sip from a giant mug of coffee. He had only drank half of the mug, and there was no talking until he had drained it. Several silent minutes ran by as he finished draining his coffee. "There we go..." He yawned and pushed his mug down the table, causing it to fall off and shatter. "Alright...Time to go." He stood up and made his way towards the training grounds. People were annoying, and he had stuff to do.

MISCELLANEOUS:

• Despite his easy going disposition and Zero status, Jack is no rookie. He's been a hunter for a year or two, but he has the natural talent to pick up any weapon he sees and know how to use it as an adept. Not quite a master.
• Jack uses a wide variety of weapons, ranging from a simple club, all the way to a high-tech sniper rifle. He could be considered an adept in the vast majority of cases, but he's never mastered one technique. Jack tends to prefer melee weapons to ranged weapons.

I've started working on my character. He's a bit of a barbarian, with the first demon he killed being a treant-like demon. I'll post a WIP once I have the CSS done, and I expect to have finished the SU either tomorrow or the day after that.

Connor is the typical football player in terms of physique and build : strong and lean. He sports short brown hair, that he likes to dye blonde when he feels like it, and a stubble beard he likes to trim often just for the sake of feeling neat. Conner towers at 6'2" and weighs 200 lbs of pure muscle, something he likes to brag about quite often.

As for attire, Connor generally wears whatever happens to emphasize his body type.

Decayed
To those who possess the Sight, Connor as a more "human" form of the Minotaur. Two small horns protrude from his short hair and some spots of his body are covered with a bit of fur. His body also grows bigger and he hits the 7 feet mark quite easily.

HISTORY: Connor saw the day in London on the 3rd day of May. Most of the members of his family were skilled hunters, either active or retreated, and they were known throughout England as specialists at what they were doing. The Williams considered themselves more as "private" hunters and they often worked only for fees or as "consultants", which basically made them quite rich. As such, plenty of hopes were placed in Connor ever since he was a little kid. So, in addition to going to school and such, Connor also underwent studies in the art of hunters under the strict guidance of his father. He would also often go running with his father to keep himself "fit and strong". As soon as Connor hit the age of 11, it was decided that he'd get to accompany the family when they went on the hunt for minor demons. Doing so would allow him to see how hunters really did their jobs without having to dirty his hands as Connor would stay at reasonable distance of the action. During those expeditions, he met with two of his cousins who would soon become his best friends and partners in crimes. Sasha Williams, 14 years old, was a charismatic girl with a pretty high spirit. Turner, 16 years old, was a laid-back and down to earth young man.

The three showed great promises both individually and teamed up. As they grew up, they got more and more involved in the hunting but were never allowed to deliver the final blow. Not until they were 19, anyway. They would then have a proper ceremony and would be added to the family business. Both Sasha and Turner had already chosen a skeleton demon as their first and would be Striders. But Connor himself didn't want to follow in their steps. He didn't see himself working in the family, he wanted to join the Order of the Morning Star. He would have a wider catalog of demons to fight and that's what he wanted above all! His parents had already planned everything for him though. Same demon and class as his cousins. But they didn't add his grandmother in the equation. She was living with them at the time and was quite the veteran hunter. She unexpectedly turned into a full-blown demon, something they didn't think would happen that soon. Eventually, Connor and his parents teamed up to defeat the Minotaur-like creature. But Connor had delivered the final blow from behind, thus making his grandmother the first demon he slain.

A few years later and despite the fact he didn't really like it, Connor had joined the family business. After all, he had to start somewhere. Just sitting around wouldn't have gotten him noticed. He was assigned to a squad with his cousins, which diminished the boredom and annoyance even though they didn't have many demons to beat other than the regular yard pests. Even so, word was still spreading about the popularity of the Williams' new generation of hunters so it wasn't much of a surprise to him when he found an invitation from the Order of the Morning Star, which he happily accepted, unlike his cousins.

RP SAMPLE: Connor sighed as he looked at the piece of paper his father had gave him. This was supposed to be their next assignment, taking down a veteran hunter with nearly complete Decay. Again. He was honestly tired of having to clean after old hunters before they turned into demons. That was just an utterly boring and uninteresting job and it was starting to seriously annoy him! He gritted his teeth before lifting his head from the assignment paper to face his father. Connor Williams Senior was casually scribbling down notes, seeming as if he didn't really pay any attention to the discussion with his son. And that arrogant composure of his really had the talent to get his son angry.

"No, that's enough of it!" Connor smashed the paper on his father's desk, causing a dent on it. "I refuse to continue putting up with this crap."

His father sighed, his eyes still set on the papers he had to read. His son was such a hotheaded young man, that was quite a handful sometimes. "Great, now I'm gonna have to buy a new desk because of you." He got up, turning his back on Connor, and fixed the glasses on his nose. "And stop being silly, you are going to accept this assignment and complete it. I will not accept disobedience."

This old man really got on his nerves, ordering him like that. While he was open to the idea of being a follower and obeying some commands, Connor despised the way his father did things. He was completely inconsiderate of others' opinions. He managed to contain his anger seeing as a family fight was the last thing he wanted on his plate at this moment. That would attract way too much attention and bring bad publicity to him. And that was something he couldn't afford. Not when he had the Order of Morning Star in his sight. Any mentions of unruly behavior and all hopes would be gone. Connor just had to wait a little bit longer, they were surely bound to notice him somehow. And he would finally get to leave this darn place. He smirked at his father just at the thought of leaving.

"Whatever you say, Old Man. I guess I can force myself to take care of some few last pests for you."

MISCELLANEOUS:
