I have a very far-fetched thought for the middle word, but we'll stick to the safer letter and guess T please!
 
Ah, think I've got it now. Looks like ReKoil was on the same track too. Is it "Yes, nah, Chansey" from that one rocket password?

Correct. Grants you access to the Rocket Warehouse on Five Island, more specifically. Qualifies as a palindrome (same backwards and forwards), much like the other password "Goldeen need log".

-pt, as in sculpt, slept, and script
-py, as in soupy, canopy, and Dreepy
-ps, as in snaps. Rules this out already.
-pi, as in Skorupi and Togepi
-pa, as in Drampa, Spewpa, and stupa
-pu, as in Hapu
-pe, as in Scope, slope, and Snipe. Crosses these off too.
-po as in hippo

Hoped for some epiphany. Tried various combinations. Made no headway on that word.

Torpedoed any clear direction. Considers normal vowels safe to try. Lingers on T, though. Doubts St- at this point. Could be in -pt, Mt, At, It, To, and TM. ...Nah. Time for a vowel. Dropped U's value with the loss of Up and Us. Prefers 'A' for both -pa and several opportunities in the second word.
