I agree. Next time around, I'd definitely like to see best out of three battles, just to try and even things out a little. However, some could argue that it is a random tournament, so it's too bad if you score a terrible team. Nevertheless, best out of three would be nice next time. Good luck to all who are still in!

Some people can win with terrible teams, so it isn't always the case.

Anyway, it was decided best out of one because we figured best out of three would be too much for the supporters, given that for the actual BC regs, it would be okay to play best out of three as that was used often, but for a supporters randbats tourney, we didn't want to present too much battling to them or they might not want to play, or be motivated to even. So that had to be kept in mind.

Nevertheless, sucks that you're pulling out of that Fireworks, seems like you're taking a tournament a little too seriously but okay.

huh? Why enter a tournament if you don't want to battle to at least a moderate extent?

And, I don't think he's taking it too seriously. He just doesn't like the idea of battling once. You shouldn't hold that against him. ;_;

It was quite awesome, Cirno was lucky! There was a legendary on the team.
 
Just beat Cid. I definitely had the better team :/ *looking at you arceus
 
Confirming my loss against Golurk. Oh and you didn't need Arceus anyway. :p Congrats buddy! Hope you become the ultimate victor after you win against everyone else. My loss shall not be in vain. ;D

Antemortem and gunnerpow7 are out for not completing their battles.

As for the next round:
1. GolurkIsDaBomb vs TwilightBlade
2. Olli97 vs Wolflare
3. Pave Low vs AlexOzzyCake
4. vaporeon7 vs Brendino
5. Hikari10 vs Cirno

You guys have a week (28th). If all battles are completed sooner than a week then we'll just move onto the next round.

I feel sad for Antemortem and Gunner, they had an unfortunate timezone issue which meant they weren't online at the same time.

But I don't know how this will work out though given the pairings look uneven.

Edit: What? My 6,000th post already?

Unfortunately, yes.

I think that the fact I got a Duskull and Shuppet with the same movepool bar substitute on Duskull was slightly unlucky. Pansage had me from the start, no Pokemon in my roster would've defeated that grass monkey of yours :(

I got badly stomped by Cirno.

Her Excadrill wiped out my entire team, and bad luck was on my side too. Stealth Rock also didn't help me survive long too.
