I agree with this, but since both Bidoof and Melody are being voted for it's hard to get a majority. We need to decide on one person to lynch and just get some answers (hopefully)

I just removed my vote yesterday so that majority wasn't met. I just needed some more time to think.
Why Salzorrah? They did the same as Bidoof and started lynching Melody after she claimed doctor. The doctor'd be a nice target to mafia, and it'd put us at a big disadvantage.

Bidoof's post , per my see, it's mostly defending himself, he didn't claim vanilla inno, so he's still a suspect. But I do agree with him about not revealing roles. It's no big deal for me, 'cuz I don't have a special role.

HyperMorian, you know if we do that, we'll be giving away a target to mafia, right?

This bidoofwagon is very suspicious. I was suspicious of him even before Melody, but I think Melody dug her own grave and is worthy of a lynch. She claimed the doctor, so what? 1)Doesn't mean it's true, 2)Mafia will kill her if she really is the doctor or 3)She's maf, we don't kill her and she stays alive until the real doctor is forced to counter claim.

Having a revealed doctor is pretty much useless anyway.

I'm usually hesitant to lynch a doctor claim even if a revealed doctor is probably useless (assuming she's telling the truth), but I agree that we won't get anywhere with no lynching.

Things seems a bit chaotic today.

Yuri and the rest of his group didn't know what to do. First they started to suspect that a knight was their path to taking down Cumore or, if they were luck, Alexei. Later during the day they thought they might have had a chance at figuring out what the hell Yeager was doing. But in the end they couldn't make a decision. Raven mutters something under his breath while Estelle let's out an exhausted sigh. Rita decided that she would tinker with her blastias instead while Judith just didn't seem to be in a good mood. Flynn and Repede both seemed to have at least been trying to figure things out but overall no one was really on the same page.

Meanwhile Alexei smirks in his corner. As long as they continue to be unfocused and unorganized picking them one by one will be easy. Today, he feels, will be a good night. He turns to Cumore and nods.

"It's time."

They already have their plan in play. Now it's time to act on it.

Alexei was done playing.

It was time to take down the one who was getting in their way. At first he was going to use him as a pawn. Use him for his own measures. But as he continued to speak with Yuri's group he realized that it would be much better to get rid of him altogether. No need for knights who could turn against him. The other one was another story. He can't possibly betray Alexei without killing himself or someone close to him.

But that shining knight? He has no use for him anymore.

The moment they found Flynn alone they took action. Making sure Flynn's brigade wouldn't be nearby as they ambush the knight while he was off investigating.

"Flynn Scifo! You are under arrest for treason!" Cumore said. He was more than happy to get rid of this pest that has done nothing but get in his way. To him he didn't even deserve to become a captain, the little lower quarter peasant he was.

"There must be a mistake! I have done nothing to turn my back against the capital!" Flynn protested. He did his best to fight back the knights that were there, but even the amazing Flynn Scifo found himself overwhelmed by all the knights. It wasn't anything like taking down a bunch of monsters. There was something... someone behind all of this.

It's just too bad that he couldn't find them before they caught him.

The next morning Yuri and his group find out the news. Yuri punches the wall while Estelle finds herself wishing that she was there to protect Flynn. The rest of the group were less than pleased, as well.

"My blastia will find them," Rita muttered under her breath. It wasn't in her hands but finally in the hands of another. Hopefully they use it well.

"If it doesn't, I will. They will pay for the shit they've pulled." Yuri responds. Waiting for Rita's blastia is an option, now that Flynn is gone, but will they be able to wait that long? What has to happen for it to give us what they want? Even Rita couldn't give them a straight answer. Repede seemed to agree as he turned and walked off to do something on his own.

Only time will tell. Even Patty, who spent the night eating her favorite food, wished she did more. Everyone did.

Late to the party for this. But I don't see how we can still suspect Melody. If she's fool, she's playing it bad. Bidoof, to me, has been flipping a lot more than I'd usually see him do. And that's bugging me slightly. For the sake of not wanting to die, I'm [vote] Bidoof and I'll see what tomorrow brings us in terms of this

A couple things, first, explain why you think we can no longer suspect melody, I find it odd how a un cc'able doc claim (since it leads to certain doom) can somehow clear her. If claiming an important PR role when everything looks hopeless is somehow the new ultimate strat, make me mafia every time.

Second, your only justification for this is the response to the fool theory, which is pretty far-fetched and honestly, a low effort thought. Maybe it's just my personal conviction but I think that with the way both Melody and I are playing there is 0 possibility of one of us being fool.

Third, I don't understand what you mean by flipping so I can't really comment, but I also haven't been very invested/post heavy in a game for a long time (took a break from UG then died early like 3 games in a row) so I guess I can understand why that might bother you if that's what you're referencing. I'm just invested in the game and want to win.

I mean, the maf could easily realize Melody is going to get ML'd if she really is doctor, killing her would probably be a waste of their time. And it's not like delaying her death stopped them from killing cop. So not the most incriminating detail, but yeah.

People tend to play it safe when they're already winning.

This could be a dangerous line of reasoning I feel. I think it depends a lot on who the mafia are. Bard or EC for example (just picking random UGers of the top of my head here) are prone to making really risky plays for the fun of it.

Fair point on that isolated case, but I feel your line of reasoning is even more dangerous as we cannot account for every single individual or every possible situation, which is why is very simple to me. In every mafia game I've been, these conspiracy theories always pop up and from my experience, they're always wrong. Again, Occam's Razor.

Except I'm not guaranteeing anything here. I'm saying that your basing your take on things on assumptions of the behaviour of people you have yet to identify. That's dangerous thinking in mafia because it lets people slip by easily by adjusting their behaviour.

Personally, I'm still scum-leaning on Melody claim or otherwise. If she's the doctor she could have given us her visits, she could have presented herself better etc etc. If I don't here something from her that changes my mind soon, my vote goes right back onto her.

I'm with Johnny on this one... it's odd how the maf spared Melody, especially since they don't have a roleblocker to neutralize her with. And without a cop to verify her identity... I'd like to know how many of their souls they sold to the devil to get so lucky.

Yes, Melody should claim visits so we can have the truth of it. I wouldn't go so far as claiming who she'll visit next - that'd just give the maf a free pass.

Oh, and mind you, it's also possible they're planning to use their Strongman on her... but that still begs the question why they didn't do it now.

Yes, I was also thinking about the Strongman role as well. A doctor claim is as good a role as any to use a Strongman on, although curiously I haven't been hearing any items claims for a while. They could just be waiting for us to lynch Melody, but again this a little bit WIFOM. The problem we have is that since we haven't had any lynches, I have a lot less to go on in terms of reads than otherwise, since the flips tend to help with that.
