Team Four Star (Dragon Ball Z abridged)

I don't particularly mind. Attack on Titan abridged was hilarious, and I really enjoy their specials (mostly Bardock: Father of Goku, Episode of Bardock, and Lord Slug). I think the specials are fine, especially since they're following the timeline- I wouldn't say they're getting in the way of the main production.

On that note, if this is really in line with the chronology, Broly's next. I'm interested to see what they'll do with that one.

If they don't take advantage of the fact that Broly's got the dumbest motivation of any villain ever, I will rip my own hair out. They're usually good at pointing out stuff like that, though.

The Trunks Special was pretty good, honestly. I liked that they kept a few, but not too many, serious moments in it.

Spoiler:

Well worth the wait, I really enjoyed this one. Between Bulma being on fire, a very enjoyable Future Gohan and the amazing callbacks (who caught Vegeta's scream from this scene?) I think it's one of their best work yet.
I wish they would spend more time working on actual episodes rather than movie specials or starting other abridged series.
The specials tends to have some of their best moments, History of Trunks included. I honestly look forwrad to specials more than your regular episode because they're more focused and complete. (Regular episodes just leave me wanting more, for better or worse.)

The Return of Cooler's Revenge had some of my favourite exchanges.

I was half expecting that link to take me to the compilation of the "Vegeta's Dick" joke.

This is better.

Liked the Trunks Special. Agreed, the specials are good. Though I still want more Cell Saga.

New episode's up, and it's a pretty fun one. Lots of laughs this time around, and there was some really solid writing- not even in the way of comedy, it just has really solid writing that even manages to be chilling at points.

Oh, and freeze frame. I couldn't stop laughing.

Yeah it speaks volume about how good the writing has gotten that the episode managed to be incredibly good without the series' usual jokes. Granted most of it is because of the lack of the usual gag characters, so I imagine the series is gonna hit with the jokes at full force when Super Vegeta arrives.

Quality episode and it really shows why TFS are a talented bunch. Android 16 was on POINT.

It seems they've been doing a lot of 'let's play' type videos recently.

@Loriania

Yes, especially Renegade for Life and Xenoverse playthrough.

The newest episode was fun, nothing really special, but fun. #16 did awesome stuff and I found #17 generally funny.

Overally I like Nappa, but he's a little bit overpopular. My favorite character is by far Vegeta and Piccolo, especially since Vegeta turned SS and Piccolo got Nail and Kami in his mind. I hope they won't vanish from his mind ever.

They're beginning to get better about making new episodes. Episode 48 is almost done with editing and here's it's preview:

Spoiler:

You guys have to keep in mind, their Let's Play videos are easier to make because of improvisation and the lack of the need to edit.

Nice! This was probably my fave saga.

I'd just like to point out that Tien's voice actor, GanXingba, is just an absolutely fantastic voice actor. A lot of TFS' cast is, actually, I only bring this up because of the latest episode. Looking at who else he played in this (specifically Chilled and Jeice) shows that he has quite a bit of range, but was really got me were his Shin Kikouhou shouts. Lots of intensity in them and it just sounds really good.

Not really sure why I started appreciating the more semantic parts of this show so much recently, but it really is a fantastically done series.

The last conversation between Vegeta and Semi-Perfect Cell was priceless.

Also:

"I am gonna pound you so hard, the boy's mother is gonna be jealous"

Wow.
