The song "The Four Horsemen" by Metallica was originally a song entitled "The Mechanix". "The Mechanix" was one of several songs on the demo tape No Life 'til Leather, and included lyrics that used car terms as a euphemism for sex, but was missing from the tracklist on the band's debut studio album, Kill 'Em All. "The Four Horsemen" is a rework of "The Mechanix", and replaces the lewd lyrics present on the original song with ones that talk about the four horsemen of the apocalypse. The original writer of "The Mechanix", former Metallica member and Megadeth founder, vocalist and guitarist Dave Mustaine, rerecorded the song with his new band and placed it on the tracklist of Megadeth's debut studio album, Killing Is My Business...and Business Is Good!, under the slightly altered name of "Mechanix".
