It used to be illegal to sell fireworks where I live. Although I think they lifted it last year or so. 4th of July was fun, but we got the WORST place to see the fireworks.
 
It's legal here. o.o Not sure if it's illegal during most parts of the year, but I know my dad randomly comes home with a pack of fireworks for holidays, every so often.

It's common in here, Parents even let babies (around 2-3 years old) hold them!
And if you do not have enough money to buy Fireworks they just stick to the sparkle =D

Sparklers are fun... I think I've burnt myself slightly on one of those before though. I can't remember how that happened...
I think I'm a bit of a pyromaniac, I love watching fire and explosions and things like that for some weird reason.

Who isn't? I LOVE watching things explode in very dramatic ways. *snickers*
 
In my state, it's illegal to sell fireworks. No one cares though. There are tents and stores with giant signs that say "fireworks here!" in bright red and yellow words. How the police can not notice that, I don't know. xD And a fireworks store got robbed a few days ago, and the police didn't even care that the store was breaking the laws by selling the large fireworks.

My state is an odd state.

But on July 4th, there are a lot of explosions on my street. My neighbors buy fireworks and set them off at around two or three in the morning. They don't explode in a display of lights. The fireworks just blow up on the street and set things on fire. :<

Sparklers! I love them! And because I'm weird, I bring out the sparklers in winter time. You can stay out all night and not get eaten by bugs.
 
I like to buy fireworks anytime I can get them. But since they are not sold in the county I live in, I just go to Clark County, Nevada and bring them back home.

I like to buy the smoke bombs that display in different colors at toss them at other people to make them believe something near them is going to explode. Haha.

Sparklers are fun too. But they don't last very long. So buy lots.

It doesn't hurt though, so there's no harm. I shot my friend on accident once. XD

Sometimes, fireworks are banned because of droughts. It makes everyone mad, so they buy fireworks and save them until the drought's over.
 
Anyone familiar with noise makers, poppers, whatever they're called? People here would smack them on others' backs and leave burn marks on their clothing. MAKE HULK ANGRY. THIS LAMP NO MATCH ROOM.

Ouch! ._. Why would people want to do that?!
:/ I don't like fireworks for that reason. I'm scared of getting burned.. so I usually avoid sparklers.

.O. So what's new with everyone? Seen any cool movies yet? I went to see Harry Potter and Transformers a few days ago <3~

I've been bured a lot, so I'm somewhat used to it. Oh, and don't try to hold bottle rockets, it burns all the arm hair off (though it grew back XD).

I saw Live Free or Die Hard twice about two weeks ago and I saw Harry Potter yesterday. I was rather impressed by it, but I had to pee throughout half of it. XD

To newbies: THAT is how you switch subjects. *Gives Kura a cookie* =P
 
I saw it on opening day! *waves nerd flag* It was a good movie, but the theater I saw it in was so empty, so it felt really weird to be there for so long. XD It had a "murder scene" vibe going on.

I saw Harry Potter today~ (Well.. yesterday since its past midnight now)~
I thought it was good, but I thought that the beginning was a bit too choppy and plotless :/.. but that's how I thought the book was.. so neh..

I bet if you hadn't read the book you'd be kind of confused every now and then in the movie. They did a lot of jumping around, and nothing really made any connected sense to me. xD I just imagined it as a bunch of skits of the book strung together.

I've seen Transformers as well. I sort of see it as more of the boy than the robots. Well, at least that's what I wanted. MOAR ROBOTS. But I am satisfied with the amount of action I got to witness.
