Ok, let me get all me views right so that everyone understands. I never said that Cradily was better than Ludicolo. Second, I was talking about the Moveset c_dog had suggested. I know with the right moveset Ludicolo could beat a Milotic. Third, I just dont like the fact that you cant wall the Sp.Sweepers Togekiss and Yanmega. I think it kinda defeats the purpose if you choose a Sp.Wall that cant even counter a very common Sp.Sweeper like Togekiss. Its just better to go with a different choice, but that is just my opinion. Personally, i would like to stop this stupid argument, and just wait for the others to give their opinions.

Isnt it kinda meaning less for him to have Rain Dish, but for you not to have Rain Dance? That is also the weirdest EV split i have ever seen.

Wait, didn't you originally suggest Cradily, Punishment?

No, it was some random kid. But Punishment went along with it for a while, which is kinda ironic.

no it's not because while rain dish is a nice boost, leech seed may prove to be better ie. force switches. rain dance and raindish together is like leech seed anyway. you're getting some hp back every turn but with leech seed, you're actually getting a lot more hp back(way more than 1/16) while your opponent's hp decreases every turn.

if you want to wall yanmega, the best way to beat it is to have stealth rock so it's instantly weakened, and also helps if you have twave support. twave ruins yanmega and togekiss. blissey is good at that.

Well when that random member suggested it I remember losing a close match to one. Damn Toxic. : /

you didn't have a metagross with you? who's the person who used toxic? samson? he's the only person who uses UU's so well. i'm sure if you had known cradily's only offensive moves were his ever so weak rockslide and toxic you'd know how to beat it.

I just looked up Cradily and it learns some preety good moves. Energy Ball, Stealth Rock, Mirror Coat, Stone Edge, etc. And it had preety good stats. Good offenses, above average defenses, and Suction Cup, so whats so bad about it?

read my other posts regarding it. since cradily is mostly a wall it usually has very few ev's in att or special attack, meaning its attack stat is usually around 198(and that's if you have perfect iv).. now even with energy ball and stone edge, that's not going to do a whole lot of damage on any pokemon. salamence is free to come in on cradily to set up and intimidate cuts its already pathetic attack even worse, and stone edge feels painless even though it's supereffective. the main problem though is common physical sweepers like metagross, garchomp, heracross, tyranitar aren't afraid of cradily whatsoever, so they're just going to waltz in and do their thing. cradily crumbles to meteor mash, earthquake, and close combat. so much for a wall.

I'm sorry im not the BEST pokemon player. But sleeptalk snorlax i made mistake, was gonna make it belly drum snorlax.

And endure + protect = super speed power up.

Togekiss, i'm sorry, thats y i put a (?).

I'm just a begginner so don't Hate.

What are you taling about? That post you put 2, 3 pages ago? Nobody on this thread is an expert, but if you were a beginner, you probably shouldn't have posted. Nobody's hating, but this isn't the thread to post a random team. You should of made a seperate thread if you wanted to show off your team. The team you made had a few mistakes, but it seemed as if you were portraying it as a great team for us, when you wasn't sure yourself.

@punishment, you're missing out on a great pokemon! weezing is awesome. one of my favorites(even though I have a lot of favorites). I have one on my team rocket team and it's the star on that team along with victreebell.

you need to pick a direction with ludicolo. you want a wall or a sweeper, that's something you have to decide for yourself because ludicolo is pretty versatile thanks to swift swim and rain dish.

For a sweeper, a modest ludicolo is very good. it's not OU but that doesn't take anything away from it. most of my favorite pokemon aren't OU's.

Sweeper Ludicolo@damp rock/leftovers/life orb
swift swim
modest
252sp.att 152hp 104speed
-rain dance
-energy ball
-surf
-ice beam

Now that's pretty good coverage right there, don't you think? it's like a poor man's kingdra.

As for Walling..
Ludicolo@leftovers
rain dish
calm
204hp/76spatt/228spdef
-leech seed/rain dance
-synthesis/giga drain
-surf
-ice beam
Not as good as 3rd gen because of air slash and sludge bomb weakness, but it's decent. Not enough to be the sole sp.def pokemon on the team but is a hella better than cradily.

Yea, everyone uses Synthesis/Rain Dance...

Cradily works out, Barrier/Amnesia/Recover, making it hard to do damage.

Okay can we get back on topic to creating the best team we can. Right now we have Cradily and Ludicolo, no questions asked. we will continue to have them until the majority decides on a replacement. So I suggest that instead of wasting energy (now) on pointing out weaknesses cough:cdog:cough: (nothing against you personnally) we should be suggesting replacemets.

So far, Punishment suggested Garchomp and I suggested Weezing, I'm tired of the arguing. I think we're losing focus because of it.

i like Weezing because its only weakness is Pyschic types, who don't tend to have great defenses, and psychic moves arn't as common as they used to be. I also like him because no one tries to build there team to counter Weezings, they're unexpected. And finally his move pool leaves options open.

I'm sure there is plenty of arguments against Weezing too, but I'd really just like to get back to the friendly peaceful conversation.

Cdog, who do you think we should replace Cradiliy with?

Edit: Or who wants to keep Cradiliy? Majority rules.

Sorry Vainz for doing a little of your job, just thought I'd try to restore some order.

who's everyone? i don't see why everyone would use synthesis/rain dance because they certainly can't go wrong with other options too if it's what fits their team.

as for you laughable set, what's barrier/amesia/recover going to do? a garchomp is going to switch in and say "lol" and then sword dance up and then own you all the same. what's cradily got that's going to make garchomp switch or take down garchomp? absolutely nothing. garchomp usually have substitute as well so even if cradily has toxic, it's still useless. the set you gave for cradily demonstrates perfectly why it fails. if you can't see that obviously you don't battle competitively.

weezing is actually a fine replacement for cradily, imo, if you're looking for a physical wall it's one of the best. bronzong is good too.

Ok, that is enough. We are now going to vote. No more arguments will be heard, because they will all be ignored. We are voting wether or not to keep Cradily and Ludicolo. We are going to do this one step at a time. Tell us wither or not you want LUDICOLO. Cradily is not being voted on yet, so no one better tell us why it is so bad if we are trying to vote for Ludicolo. I vote to get rid of Ludicolo

Keep Ludicolo: 0

Forget Ludicolo: 1

Ok, here is the votes so far:

Keep Ludicolo: 1

Forget Ludicolo: 1

After this we will do Cradily.

Keep Ludicolo. I was just in a battle Richard Steel yesterday. Ludicolo took a Choice Band STAB Earthquake from a max EV and IV Adamant Dugtrio with about 45-50% health and survived to counter with a Hydro Pump (which is now replaced by Surf ^_^) KOED Duggie. That tells me alot.

My Team...

I don't think too many people are giving my team enough credit. Here it is:
Infernape
Dialga
Roserade
Luxray
Staraptor
Floatzel

Movesets & natures are on the Rate my Team thread. And please, somebody find something they all like about my team!

Please, this is NOT a place to post a random team. Either find something to add to contribute to this thread-like a pokemon you think would help-or don't post. But as I said, this is not the place to post your team. Also, if your going to advise a pokemon for us, be sure it fits our requirements:

no ubers
no legends
We are looking for certain pokemon at a time, such as a wall, sweeper, ect. Read the above post to see what we are looking for.

That said, why is their Dalgia? No offense, but only rookies need ubers in their team.
