I can see the hate, Chikorita is hard to train, it's defensively mainly. (I tried training a Shuckle once, it took sooo long.) Still, cutesy wins it for me!

I dunno how we're supposed to judge the Pokemon for this, if we upvote them or downvote them. I just vote based on my own personal opinion. If I don't like a Pokemon for whatever reason, then I downvote them. It's the same with Vodka. He might not find all the Pokemon cute, and he might judge more based on how well the Pokemon does competitively, but it's still great to have Vodka around in this thread. Keeps things interesting, since it means that not every Pokemon is an easy race.

Anyway, in my expectations, every fully evolved Pokémon will get a Mega ultimately.

That...both terrifies and interests me at the same time. It would be interesting to see that many Mega Pokemon, but then again, I wouldn't want to see the feature overused.

It plays differently from the others, being more defense-focused. That explains why Chikorita is many's least fave Johto starter. Doesn't help that literally every single Johto Gym isn't kind to Grass-types either.

Chikorita was my least favorite of the gen 2 starter monz. :x
Totodile is my favorite, that thing is cute to look at in the anime but would be scary as hell if it was in real life. It's literally like an alligator being able to run on dry land.

So you're saying you do base your favorite Pokémon on cuteness? :P
Anyway, I haven't played the games a lot lately and am mostly still into Pokémon because of the characters and their designs and coolness and cuteness are simply important factors there. (But basically I like almost all of them. :))
