In the area where my Institution is situated, we are advised not to drink running water, as this is around agricultural belt, hence there exists possibility of getting degraded quality of water.

If anyone needs to taper off caffeinated drinks, it's easier to swap towards other flavor drinks rather than doing a full swap to water then gradually make water the priority.

When I was a teenager, I was medically told to slow down my intake of caffeine. We started keeping flavored fruit drinks in the house such as Gatorade. I had those instead of soft drinks and eventually water became my main drink of choice.

That number spike was just the proof to show us that we shouldn't let him near coffee. :P

I don't like that stuff, either. I used it as a sort of "wake up drug" when I was getting my drivers licence years back, though. My teacher always complained that I was acting too sleepily. It seemed to work. But even that couldn't convince me to start drinking coffee. :D

I have caffeine to try and make the days bearable when I've had no sleep.

I used to avoid it entirely because caffeine = insomnia, but I couldn't sleep even with no caffeine anyway, so I started allowing myself a cup of coffee to pick me up on bad days. That's how I'm talking to you rn 😅

I drink coffee sometimes to wake up or just for the taste (I quite like the flavor after a healthy dose of creamer); but I tend to avoid drinking more then 1 a day since more then that often makes me anxious and paranoid. Congrats on 25K as well Megan!
