The Count To Infinity - v12

I kind of had the opposite experience. I had a hard time with the first two games and even burnt out on them a couple times, probably because the gameplay was a little too complicated for me. But 3 was smooth sailing from beginning to end for me. ^^

I think the cast of Xenoblade 3 didn't click for me as much. The gameplay was fine.

Although it's challenging to sit through a 60+ hour story if the characters aren't meshing.

Maybe it was just the pacing. They introduce all the main characters very quickly instead of easing you in.

*has never played a Xenoblade game*

Yeah, the cast wasn't too impressive. I think that's one of the things the 2nd game did best. I feel like even the first game struggled with characters quite a bit; except for Shulk who got a ton of character development.

And I need to hunt some Glavenus in the Guiding Lands to get a few Smoldering Tailedges to augment my Alluring Evelia 🤔

I enjoyed the cast of Xenoblade 1 more than Xenoblade 3.

They weren't too fleshed out but they meshed together nicely. (even if they were just shulk and friends sometimes).

It's also possible that I was tiring of the gameplay loop by Xenoblade 3 and it's making me a cynic.

That's fair. I actually am currently getting tired of the gameplay loop of the Tales series. And even for Xenoblade I have to look up a couple videos just to figure out what I have to do. ^^"

I never played the Xenoblade series, so I have no idea what the story of it is about
They are a series of somewhat futuristic fantasy jRPGs with a philosophical undertone. They are fun but can be a little difficult to get into; especially Xenoblade 2.

If people played Xenoblade and Persona in their youth instead of Pokémon, we would have a generation of 150 IQ.

I can't believe February is almost over, as well. <_<
I promised to my friends that I would release the beta version of the update of my fangame by the end of December... I'm almost two months late XD

I feel like if I had gotten into Pokemon as an adult, I would have looked at the complex type chart and noped out.

It's much easier to learn things as a kid.
Good point.
But let's be fair, that's the only difficulty of Pokémon. Besides, most of the effectivenesses are pretty logical. Besides besides, there are reminders on the UI, right? (I don't have a switch but I remember seeing the effectiveness of moves in the move selection screen).

I've yet to see any snow...
... guess no snow this year :sadwick:
Come to Canada, my city has been covered in snow since Thursday (from 10 days ago) :)
