i've never used the game corner. never had luck and never liked the games. it was really annoying how porygon was only obtainable in game corner in the first games. i wanted to use him so bad

FINALLY! Kyuremu has released its icy grip on us! No longer a Frozen World with Icy Winds! People are finally able to sit on grass and benches, basking in the warmth! Jackets are unneeded! OH, HAPPY/SUNNY DAY!
Let's just hope it continues like this as summer approaches. >_> Come on, Spring Equinox!

I was quite disappointed when I found out the Game Corner was removed in BW. :cer_pissed: Stupid people afraid of "gambling" in games. And after all these years since RBY, even. It doesn't even have that much of a focus in the games, and it's hardly mentioned. What's wrong with a simple diversion? If Pikachu can be plastered on front of a game (albeit not necessarily canon) with guns, lasers, and bombs, why can't simple slot machines remain in the main series? Not to mention all those references to death in the games left intact, which IMO should be even worse for children... You're not exactly going to get something child-friendly if you do research on Guillotines, Flamethrowers, and Explosions...

Yeah, I usually bought all my Coins in Sapphire/Emerald for decorations, items, and TMs, but the Slot Machines and Roulette table were nice distractions at times. I wish Gray could include Slot Machines, Roulette tables, and Voltorb Flip all in one game. Now that would be enhancing what past generations have introduced.

All I say is that if RSE's Mauville Game Corner is not preserved in its original GBA form in RS3DS, me and my Blaziken are going to RAGE. I can't wait to see how this is handled in future RS remakes...what are they gonna do, make a big building that's just littered with Coins on the floor or insert crappy non-interactive Game Machines like the European Platinum editors did?

I sucked at all the Game Corner games from Generation I to IV but at least in Voltorb Flip, I didn't lose any of my own coins or money. 8(

Firstly, I do not know who Saint Patrick is. Seriously, this is the first time I've even heard his name. =/
Secondly, I do not keep a calendar.
Lastly, I don't really think much about any irregularity I see on the internet. Hope that explains everything.

I know what they say about a first for everything, but I've never heard of someone forgetting/not knowing this day. Maybe it isn't popular where you live, so okay then.

You don't keep a calendar. Why not, it's better to have something physical.
