I have that slight feeling that some drama will arise in the next few hours. Not in this thread though.

Also, two Portuguese teams on the Europa League final. FC Porto vs SC Braga. Congrats to both teams, specially SC Braga, the team that took down several top-class teams to get to the final of an international competition for the first time in the club's history.

Hey, I just happen to check TCTI and one of the current topics is football. :D

Its a great achievement for Braga, although I have to wonder about the quality of the Europa League when Boro, Fulham and Braga have reached the final in recent years.

I've given up on Nintendo home consoles, the wii was terrible.

Braga finished 2nd placed in the Portuguese League last season, fighting for the championship (unexpectedly) until the last match. They qualified for the Champions League playoffs, where they took down Celtic and Sevilla to get to the group stage. In the group stage, they beat Partizan in both matches and won one match against Arsenal to finish in the 3rd place and go to the Europa League.
In the Europa League, they beat Lech Poznan, in a balanced playoff, then Liverpool (B 1-0 L, L 0-0 B) and Kyiv (K 1-1 B, B 0-0 K; qualified for goals scored away), then the former Portuguese champions SL Benfica (SL 2-1 B, B 1-0 SL; again qualified for goals scored away). They can't be a bad team. And they are not. I watch our championship and they surely are a good team. Not a top-class team though, which makes them be even more complimented.

Also about the lyrics I posted before, they're from the song This Day We Fight! by a Heavy Metal band called Megadeth. The lyrics are based off Aragorn's speech in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

WHYYY do people keep on saying that? T_T I'll admit, the main shortcoming of the Wii, IMO, was that the motion controls seem more suited to first-person and behind-the-back third person games (Twilight Princess, Wii Sports, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Mario Kart Wii [with the WHEEL controller peripheral]). But it wasn't that bad. Mountainloads better than the Kinect. I mean, if I'm playing a videogame, I'm going to need some actual buttons, plz. We'll see what Project Cafe has to offer...

But yeah, everyone's entitled to an opinion.
I wonder how innovative Skyward Sword will be regarding motion controls?

I couldn't help but laugh when the Kinect and the Move were announced.
Kinect was just ripping off the Eye toy, and the Move was just ripping off the Wii.
Not to mention that Sony hates Nintendo. xDD;;
I'm looking forward to Skyward Sword. Even if they do try make the controls more realistic. :V

Longest. Bus Ride. Ever. @_@ Wasn't expecting the trip to take that long, but it's OK, I guess.

And these "book buyback" rates at school are just pitiful. I hauled along at least 10 books there from my classes, one of said books being a history textbook that I purchased earlier in the semester for roughly $95-$100, and all I managed to amass in return for all of the books was $25.50 in total. -_-
I mean, come on...it should be like in the Pokemon games where you can sell stuff back for half price. Granted, this was a somewhat-external company affiliated with the school, but still. >_>

The worst part was when I found out from the clerk telling me that there were no buyers for the book Caleb Williams there, and now I have to wait until THE END OF FALL SEMESTER 2011 to try selling it again. I'm refraining from online "book buyback" transactions and such because this book has given me enough grief already, and I don't want to spend more than 1 minute trying to sell it.
I guess even other people know that the book is so terrible, it's not worth paying money for. :x

Sigh...stupid schoolwork. T_T If I have to waste so much money on books for school, they should at least be interesting.

No, Caleb, I don't care about your effin' stupid adventures. And I already know how to see 'things as they are' - it's called looking at the darn things. With your EYES. Le DUHHH.
