But if you just want to chat, why not the DCC? This thread (and the other one) seem kinda pointless to me. They certainly don't seem like they should be stickied; even games like The One Above and Rate the Signature have more value as forum games. This requires no effort whatsoever. >_>

Over time, this thread has really become less about numbers as it used to be and more about dropping off inconsequential (as in no +1) non-sequiturs that really don't spur too much "chat", as reflected by the snail pace of this iteration of the thread. Additionally, the other counting thread, along with others spawned from it, have revolved around a kind of specialized discussion around certain topics and certain members. This and the mod thread haven't always been that way though. They used to actually be about numbers whenever a major checkpoint. Now the numbers have become somewhat complacent and more of an obstacle to type than something to post in hopes of getting the big one.

I let it get to 500 (or something high? I'M SO SURE I WAS INVOLVED), iirc. I was in someone else's bedroom in this house on the laptop... I have no clue why, though. o_O

I would really hope so. But it depends on what time the new one happens, I think. IF WE TRY HARD WE COULD HAVE A NEW ONE UP THIS WEEKEND.

Also, that record is for 3.0. Version 4.0 supposedly restarted the count, but I have no idea what the current record might be. If Dondon is right, then him or someone else should look for the link so it can be put on the first post that still says 3.0. :v
