I would say I'm at a bit of an impasse, considering I normally don't trust bandwagons that suddenly crop up - especially when supported by people that didn't comment on the scummy behavior in their initial replies that came after the scummy post in question - since they feel like maf trying to get a kill in, but ...

On the other hand, what the actual hell is this. A no-lynch isn't a way for reading people; they're perfect for town holding patterns (as to allow detectives and the like to get more actions in), but the choice to no-lynch is famous for being a safe choice for every faction - so unfortunately, the mafia can easily hide in it; therefore I have no idea how it helps anyone read anyone else substantially. I'm confused as to how you think it does.

Your comment here feels like a half-assed attempt to justify your choice to no-lynch when ... that wasn't the scummy part of your first post anyway. This just doesn't sound like a town reply/defense to me. I feel like an actually confused person would spout out questions about what they're confused about, or make excuses about their irl activity, or at the very least provide those incriminating you with a "omgus" response.

To boot, I'm an advocator for shit actually happening in these games, and your flip might shed some light on other players as well, soooooo [Walk the Plank] TheCapsFan​
 
Bard is locked on the right track, but i'm not a cop variant...Let's just say outing my role would ruin the point of the role, and killing me will lose a useful Support role for the town. Though I would consider it more investigative...

Kiyo just wants me dead because I'm on Valor.
 
Personally, I think jd's quick to assume Caps being scummy, and even then, he didn't give any other reason other than "that's scummy"

Hmm... Caps' posts are a bit weird, especially the second one, but if he hasn't been reading the thread then he doesn't know that he hasn't missed much, and I guess I don't find that as scummy as jd does... on the other hand ew he's a dirty valor

Soooo [Walk the Plank] jdthebud, in case Caps is indeed softing an investigative role of some sort, but if he's not dead next phase and there's no results on the table then we know who to lynch next ;)

okay.

Not saying it's not plausible for Caps to be lowkey claiming a role, but his responses are so shitty. I also don't know how much I trust the leaders of the counter-bandwagon against jd. So my vote stands. Let's hope my intuition is right.​
 
Night Two
Votes flew around the deck and people deliberated on who to kill. Nobody was due to walk the plank, until suddenly one pirate was picked out from the crowd for playing dumb.

Scurvy McScumScum was pushed up on to the plank, chants from the crew drowned out his cries for them to reconsider. He promised to find them information if they just gave him one more day.

His cries fell on deaf ears; he plunged into the ocean never to be seen again.

Day Three
In the quiet of night, Coiny tiptoed from room to room. She found the person she was looking for sleeping soundly, with nothing to do that night. Creeping up to their target, the crossdressing pirate did the most peculiar thing - she switched their hats and wandered back off in to the night. How odd.

Gingerbeard and Limey Loud Shakes slept peacefully through the night, not leaving their quarters or being disturbed. Unfortunately, this wasn't all to the crew's advantage.

A shadowy figure appeared before Lady Arvine. She knew it was only a matter of time, she was hoping to go down shouting during the day just to fire off her own killing shot. Unfortunately, the shadow cut her life short.

Gunner being town isn't that surprising to me given the voodoo on her name on D1. As for the lynch on Caps, the reason I voted for him in the first place was because I agreed with Kiyo here, and I really hate no lynching two days in a row, it just slows the game down, and I think everyone can agree that we don't need slower games ;).

Anyway, after I voted, I was gone for the rest of the day phase, so I didn't see any of his claims after that.

But for what it's worth, the rest of the players who voted for Caps also agreed with Kiyo, and I didn't see any of them change their votes after Caps "revealed". I have a feeling he was a Bomb or something, which really sucks if that's the case.

tbh I would say that Kiyo was the leader on the Caps lynch not me, but I'm leaning town on Kiyo, so I dunno what to think now. If I had to vote for someone on the Caps wagon (me, Kiyo, Klippy, drewbie, and Wiz) I think it would be better to focus on those who joined the wagon later. Scum usually doesn't start a wagon, and before everyone joined in, it was still a no lynch.

Also, those who voted for me should have voted to no lynch instead, they would have won out since there ended up being 3 votes to no lynch, 3 votes on me, and 5 votes for Caps :/.

All that being said, I won't be around for the next several hours, so debate amongst yourself. I've said my piece for now.
