I've never been a fan of Zelda, having said that I've never tried it, but I grew up playing the likes of Mario & Pokémon for the Nintendo consoles and Crash Bandicoot and Spyro for the Sony Console any many others, but my main game throughout has infact been Pokémon.

You see, I've never been a fan of the Sony console games, I would only really play Crash Bandicoot Racing, or something like that. And, I've only really gotten interested in Pokémon when Diamond and Pearl were released, so I don't know much about past games and generations, sadly. ;-;

Funny thing is, I never could get into Zelda much either. I'm really easily startled and don't enjoy it, so a lot of real-time games I just can't get into.

Crash Team Racing?! That game was the best thing ever.

BinaryPeaches: Eew...! I hate Shaman King...the manga is notouriessly boring... (Did I spell that right?)

Nope. It's spelled notoriously. And a better word choice would've been ridiculously, since notoriously implies that it has a reputation for being boring, which it doesn't, otherwise it wouldn't have been popular in the first place.

I didn't mind Sharman King, from what I remember from it, I was young when I watched/read it.

Take two for being in University all night again! XD

Shaman King was actually one of the first anime I ever watched. When I moved to Ottawa and got cable for the first time, I would usually just turn to YTV for the Pokémon episodes. At the time Avatar: The Last Airbender was airing just before, and Shaman King was just after. I ended up becoming a fan of both by this simple association. XD

But I've never read the manga, which I understand is a lot longer, so I can't comment on that, sadly.

I completely agree! My favourite Crash Bandicoot game :D cause I'm a big fan of racing games too :)

And about Anime, I've never really enjoyed any other Anime apart from Pokémon, probally because it was the only one I watched when I was younger and none of the other compare to it really :P

Opinions are opinions. It's exactly what Dondon said as well: if it was notoriously boring, then it wouldn't have been popular. When I went to a convention this past weekend I saw several Shaman King characters even though it's been years since the manga was finished and the anime was aired. I personally enjoyed Shaman King very much, and it's my sister's favorite series next to Tales of Symphonia.

The manga is a lot different than the anime. I'm not sure how many chapters a manga has to be for you to consider it 'long', but the Shaman King manga has 300. It's a lot different from the anime (including some of the personalities) so I suggest you give it a shot sometime if you have time... or something.

I read some of the Shaman King manga back when I had a subscription to Shonen Jump (when it was first syndicated here) and I really enjoyed it but never enough to actually go buy the manga after that or hit up the anime. :x

To be honest I'm surprised to see Alakazam saying it was on Canadian TV. xD; I never even knew that.

Ohhh, I remember Shonen Jump. Those were the days.

Yu-Gi-Oh! manga excerpts(?) were awesome.

Ugh. Zelda games. I'm too much of a spazz about game-saves to play them. I've tried so many times, though. They are really cool games, I just can't play them.

I'm very much biased to Sony systems and games. I'm not a big fan of where Nintendo has gone with their games recently.

@Erica: Yeah, I remember Shaman King being on YTV at one point. XD;

However, I never really got into either the anime or the manga, so I never watched it.

Yugioh is one of those things I never got into. I even got into a habit of spelling it wrong in order to annoy the actual fans. I remember getting into this mini-arguement with one of my brother's friends, who said that "Yugioh cards would always beat Pokémon cards, hands down." I rolled my eyes and said "Well that's because Yugioh multiplies everything by one hundred." XD

I used to watch a few anime on YTV, but I never really got into it. I saw like half a dozen episodes of Shaman King there, before watching the whole series online at a later date. ^_^

Never liked Yu-Gi-Oh, although it always had a big reputation, I didn't see why though I guess it just wasn't my type of thing.

Thank you for the definition. Speaking of Yu-Gi-Oh...I love the manga, but not the anime it was ruined by 4Kids dubbing.
