I'm going to be a doctor :o

On the PLAN and other practice ACT tests it says if I were to get the same score I'd get a 35 on the ACT o.o but I don't I'd get that high. I have have high expectations from my family tho, nobody has ever gotten lower than a 30 in my family D:

Uu, I have to study more this year. I had to sit down with my parents last night and convince them that I do actually study - they just don't see it so much because all they see is me sitting on the computer. They don't check what I'm doing, and I'm grateful for that trust, but the flipside is that they don't see that I'm actually using the internet to study as well as mess around with you awesome folks on here.

Actually, they don't know I hang out here at all. :x

To take a page out of my Blog:

Well here's my Standard Test Scores:

SAT Reasoning:
Reading: 740
Math: 570
Writing: 590
Overall: 1900

SAT Subject:
US History: 800 (HECK YEAH)
World History: 750
Literature: 590

ACT:
English: 27
Math: 28
Reading: 34
Science: 25
Overall: 29

I'm quite happy with these scores. :3

I didn't get the UBER SMART (elitist Ivy League) score of averaging 30+ in the ACT and getting over 2000 in the SAT, but I think I did pretty well w/o studying. xD

Still I didn't bother applying to the East coast Ivy Leagues. It's just not my thing to associate with with such people. I'd rather be around guys who are trying their best in the Public system. :)

What's your ACT score overall? :0
And what do the colleges in your area focus on most? (SAT, ACT and/or GPA)

I'm going to the University of Akron, they only wanted a 19 ACT score despite being a very good public school. Yay them~

My university (Bowling Green State University - yay Ohio!) has a minimum requirement of 17 on the ACT :/ It actually depresses me...and explains how all these stupid athletes who live on my floor got in. I had a 27 on my ACT. Would've been higher if I had studied.

Another Ohioan!

I think Miami takes as low as a 18-19. I got a 24 I believe. I would have had much higher, but a 17 in Math rounds down a 33 in English. -____-

I hate math. Mainly because of the idiot of a teacher I had for my freshman year. He didn't believe in gravity or that you can compute a algebraic equation in your head :/

Speaking of math...I have the state math test next week. I hate those...I don't hate math as much as I used to.

Well, I am a nerd. At least that's what I call myself :P

Nobody is really studying, they're just flipping thru chapter because we haven't learned all of material yet :/

I have an AP European History test this Friday and I haven't begun studying ._.

Don't worry too much, when I took the AP Euro exam my sophomore year, it wasn't terrible.

On the topic of ACT's, if I remember correctly, I got a 28 on mine my first try, could've gotten higher but didn't want to retake the exam. 28 was enough to get me into the University of Minnesota so I was happy with that.

I've got exam week coming up next week, but no actual exams to take. Just a bunch of papers and a project due this week and next. Then back home to work and party. XD

I want to get at least a 30, because the college I want to apply to doesn't state what score you need to get. It has a wide variety of majors so they can't give a specific score you need to get in :/

Where are you looking at going to school? I'd say most public universities will accept you with a 30 and a good GPA. But I can't say for certain. =/
