That sounds like it needs an awesome samba sounding opening theme that tells the virtues of cooking.

I actually had quite a few strange and badass ideas for Mahou Shounen Kaga as soon as I mentioned it. In fact, I drew this in paint in five minutes:

FYI I posted in DCC quite a bit when it was longer than a sentence =( that was an ugly era in time when people go "hi, i am eating breakfast" "lol me too! now I need to go take a dump cause i ate breakfast" "zomg me tooo!!!!111one" for like 5 pages in 1 hour... ughhhhhh it just draws rage in me that I stopped attending DCC + hit people who posts like that =[

I like it now when it's around 1-3 paragraphs with just occasional 1-2 sentence posts yet still reasonably meaningful!

Well, twitter was invented in the interim and apparently people found a much bigger outlet for those kind of posts XP

It's decided. The thing will be an Iron Chef prequel that has Kaga finding his Iron Chefs while looking for the shards of the Bell Pepper of Fate.

Each shard was scattered to a future Iron Chef, and Kaga must defeat each one of them in order to get them to join his fledgling Kitchen Stadium. The fate of cuisine in the 21st century depends on it.

I actually had quite a few strange and badass ideas for Mahou Shounen Kaga as soon as I mentioned it. In fact, I drew this in paint in five minutes:

It is a beautiful picture! Also shows off Kaga's absolute style. I'm surprised I didn't realize that Kaga was basically already wearing bishounen clothes.

Each shard was scattered to a future Iron Chef, and Kaga must defeat each one of them in order to get them to join his fledgling Kitchen Stadium. The fate of cuisine in the 21st century depends on it.

I imagine they'll all have Gunpla style cooking gear released as well. And in the end, they'll probably have to do battle with the evil Flay family who are trying to clone the Bell Pepper of Fate so they can create their own Iron Chefs.

But yeah, I'm a twitter addict. u_u I guess I do use it like people used to use the DCC but I don't see it as any different from Facebook. Most especially since Facebook has been moving toward becoming Twitter anyway, replacing walls with status updates and whatnot. Not that I even like Facebook. But still! Knowing what your friends are up to, if they choose to share it, can be fun. Especially as everyone's growing up and doesn't always have time for long emails or journal entries or even MSN. It's a way to keep in touch~

I personally see facebook to be *bit* better than twitter just cause it has a much more lenient character limit. Twitter is so limiting with short messages, and facebook is getting just as accessible as twitter nowadays with phone apps getting better and better sooooo really... and facebook allows the links and all as well.

Also at least fb got groups (I got dragged to using it too mainly to keep in contact with family oversea, got a secretive family info center going on so forced to use it to keep in touch.) to organize posts a bit better.

One of the two will lose eventually, really.


And point remains: be it twitter, PC or facebook: why the heck do we want to know that you're taking a dump type of thing??????


And remember in your wild frenzy Kaga about that crossover, don't spill the beans of madoka cause blue has yet to watch it XD

Kaga's normal mode of dress is pretty much what I imagined a mahou shounen to dress like in the first place. Foppish, sparkly, but still supremely masculine.

Oh man, Bobby Flay does have to be a villain. He was such a raging horse's ass whenever he was on the show that he really deserves supervillain status. He needs to be the Magneto to Kaga's Charles Xavier, assembling an army of talented chefs to do evil. He also holds a tomatillo instead of a bell pepper.

And (if you remember either of these people) Kandagawa Toshiro and Ota Tadamichi would be enemies. I wouldn't be opposed to interesting fictional villains as well :p

The exaggerated wideface makes it look more like Hidamari Sketch than genuine Madoka Magica.

Somehow, I can't dissociate Madoka from wideface, even after looking at thousands of pieces of fanart.

Maybe I'll just try to draw Kaga hair on Homuhomu or something. A better attempt will be made later today :p

YES YES YES. Kaga starts the series fairly humble looking and approaches his current appearance more and more with each successive powerup.

PERFECT idea for Bobby Flay. Actually, that chopping block was also the name plaque for Kaga's father's cooking dojo. Bobby Flay defeated him in a cooking duel, took his plaque, the dojo closed, and Kaga's father committed seppuku.

And if there's any kind of international arc, it has to take place in France. Pierre Trosgrois and Joel Robuchon would make absolutely epic villains.

Somehow by episode two I still wasn't in critical thinking mode and was just

enjoying the snappy Shaft dialogue and the Zetsubou Sensei OP-esque witch lairs. And I always skipped the OP so I never really listened to the lyrics XD

If you just look at the costume and not Madoka wearing it, it looks like a decoration that you would put in a cute little alcoholic drink at the beach. Mami's costume is where it's at.
