VC would be great, but idk if I could do one here since I'm usually not alone when here in Virginia
 
Pretty sure the only time i'd be available is on a weekend evening because of timezones, work etc etc. Bleh :(
 
Voice chats get easier the more you're in. You just have to remember occasional silence is okay, and it's okay not to talk and just listen for awhile. It's always going to be a little awkward because you can't see each other to see who wants to talk next, but it's not to bad as long as you take care to not dominate the conversation.

Also don't play music over voice chat.

Never do that.

I know I can't really assuage you about your voice, but know that you're wanted at gatherings still. You're welcome to mute and just talk to us through text, it's a lot of fun and there were some usual people who bring lots of joy to the chat by doing that back in the day. (Especially when the chat gets big enough, some people on mute are great!)
I think the best part of voice chats is to hear people laugh at what you did/said/wrote. : )
