I took Panadol lol. I remember one time I pulled a muscle in my neck and I got to go home and go to the physio. Best massage ever.

Back from school, time for everyone to desert the thread.

I wont be watching many movies at the cinema for the rest of this year, I havent heard of anything I want to watch and I generally wait for the DvD these days.
 
I actually just saw District 9 and Time Traveler's Wife this weekend. Both were really great. Now I just have to see Gamer to see if it was better than District 9. XD
 
District 9 was so good. I really enjoyed it. You'll have to tell me about gamer. I'm not sure if I want to see it yet.
 
None of the current movies out look really interesting to me, sadly:/
 
See, my only issue with District 9 was the God-awful dialogue. Some of the lines that Wikus had were just...horribly written.

"I did nothing pornographic with alien prawns!" or whatever. I dunno. XD;

But otherwise, I would've loved if Wikus and Christopher had gotten the rest of the prawns together and done a full scale attack on MNU and if they had shown off more alien weaponry in action. But those are really my only desires to have seen. Hopefully a sequel is coming out? District 10? :>

That's honestly what I was expecting, although the battle scene at the end was quite cool. I felt so bad for Wikus ;______;
 
I haven't seen it, but I heard that whilst watching GI Joe, ice at one point or another, is shown to be sinking...

I mean... who in there right mind thought that that kind of CGI was appropraite? The person who decided for the ice to sink should be shot, then shot again for good measure, then burned...
 
I saw some cool ads for District 9 on phone boxes when I went up to London- they were signs saying that non-humans weren't allowed to use 'em. :3 It was fun making jokes about my friends that way. XD
 
Most of the popularity that District 9 got was through mass advertisement. I saw at least 6 posters last time I was at the movies. I never really like how the only way a movie can get attention like that is by advertising. If it were really good, then it wouldn't need an ad every 10 steps or so :/

It was an extremely good movie. The only people who don't like it think like this:

"omfg dat nevah go'n 2 happ'n1!1!! phail!11!!"

Or you have bad taste. : 3

I never said it was bad, but the mass advertising really wouldn't be needed if it is such a great movie( I haven't seen it yet.)
