Well, you must have a different stereotype where you live, as that element isn't often incurred into the stereotype for a character, as far as I've witnessed in media. Or maybe that's a difference that ties into what years the media one watches is from...

As for stereotypes, I fit a lot of the nerd/geek stereotypes, but I bust the mold with things like my high interest level in sports, and not having too much of an affinity for superhero comics like Batman or Superman.
