The DARKEST DUNGEON II

So Naku doesn't get murdered for false reasons, he is replacing Tracer. And you would've seen that once the phase changed and his name was gone. I'm purposefully not posting in here except for phase posts though, but I wanna be sure it's clear that Naku is replacing someone. I just never told him who.

I have this feeling that if we stay and bury the corpse something bad is gonna happen to us. It's always like that. Acting out of goodwill ends up badly. Like being ambushed by maggots or something and have our stress up.
I might be wrong, but I feel like following my gut so [Leave the corpse].
I tend to be quite the asshole when I play mafia so I don't even feel guilty about this xD
If you're lucky you guys might find something on the poor guy, like his gold or something. but I guess I'll pass.

I will agree with this: [Leave the corpse]

Fair enough. Didn't think you didn't want to post here much, even for such things. Thanks for the heads up.

Unfortunatly the fact the corpse is untouched makes me suspicious of it. What does it have on it that even maggots and rats won't touch?
[Leave The Corpse]

[bury the corpse]

We've got to attack soon too then. I'm gonna stick with my vote from the last phase, as tempting as Alex might be. :p

[attack] Abby

[Attack] Abby

Earlier someone was talking about diseases right? Maybe Klippy does have some idea in mind and when we bury the corpse we contract that disease? I have no clue.

[BURY THE CORPSE]

I have a bad feeling that it might not stay dead if we leave it alone :/

That may not be a bad thing. There is a rare Town Event that allows you to bring a dead Hero back to life. But . . . this could be many other things, as well.

I don't see how analyzing the phase post and outing my thoughts about it seems suspicious to you. I even make sure to include how much of a speculation my thoughts are because I don't wanna mislead anyone; especially since I haven't played the actual game.

And if FF mafia taught me anything, it's that you are a decent at lying. You've also said in the twau mafia chat that you help town regardless of your alignment, so I'm always wary of you. And actually you proved that last point in this game, cuz you've been helping until now, and you were a terror, be it gargoyle or madman.

Thanks for the compliment. And you're not wrong; by playing as I do, there's very little difference in my mannerisms whether I'm innocent or scum. It makes it harder to determine my alignment and motivations, which is beneficial in all games. And it's typically quite amusing, whether I win or not.

As far as my suspicion of you, it's simply how your posts read to me. It's not what you say, but how you say it. It's the same reason I killed Gimmepie in Mafia Madness: Guns. To me, he positively screamed scum, while everyone else seemed rather sure of his innocence. I ended up doing some damage to that mafia before they used up two shots to remove me from the game. It was great.

Yes, I could be wrong here. By virtue of the fact that there are so many mini-factions and lone wolves within the Evils and Terrors, and that the Heroes start with the same number as all of those Evils and Terrors combined, there is no single faction that holds power, and there's no simple way to tell what someone is. The lone wolves, being all of the Terrors, will be playing to gratify all of the factions; as they belong to none, and win simply by surviving if they cannot fulfill their alternative conditions, then they have no true enemies to eliminate, and no true allies from which they may have support. The various factions of Evils will likely be seeking to eliminate or conscript all other factions. They have a shared target in the Heroes, but that doesn't make them allies.

Basically what I'm getting at is that, while the Heroes are the largest faction in the game, as well as the "innocents," at least half of the players in the game are lying as they all pretend to be Heroes, and I feel that that's exactly how your posts have read thus far. In this game, you could randomly throw out an attack and likely hit someone from an opposing faction. Having even a slight idea or read as to who is truly against you comes with pretty fair chances of you being correct.

Now that my little roundabout explanation and appeal to anarchy is done, I may as well just stick with my initial thoughts. While I do believe the Siren is someone who took a fair amount of damage already, I'm not convinced that it's Abby.

For now, my thought is on attacking Alex, or whoever I think could be the Siren. I'll have to read back a little more before I decide that, though. Either way, my attack will still serve as little more than a love tap, I fear. I'll be back on to vote in the next few hours, assuming PC doesn't break as it did while I was typing this post.

And, as I think it could prove . . . interesting, if nothing else

Leave the Corpse

and win simply by surviving if they cannot fulfill their alternative conditions

I had a feeling this was the case. Having one man teams seemed harsh, and I was thinking they either had to have an alternative way of winning, or beastly stats. Glad to know that they have special win conditions, so we can be wary of those in the future.

Definitely - the Prophet from tDD1 would win the game if he got 5 predictions of another player's death correctly. I would imagine at least one Terror exists in this game that was some sort of wincon that doesn't involve simply surviving.

Speaking of surviving - [Leave the body] since I feel like burying it would likely give some kind of disease (damage over time?) or some other debilitating effect. Someone mentioned stress to be the consequence of leaving it alone... I'm not entirely sure - but even if it is, I'd rather have a small bit of stress versus getting poisoned or diseased or whatever. :/

Also, as the day goes on, I'm starting to like the idea of having the Siren outed (it was Nightkrow who knows this ya?). I mean, if we all know that Nightkrow knows who the Siren is, why not out it? Or am I missing something? .-.

I agree with all of this, however, for your last question I think we came to the conclusion that NightKrow attacked someone else.
