The Darkest Dungeon

Did it? In that case, we may know more villagers than we claim to.

On that note, why are outing innocents? I mean, if it's to figure out stats about each other, that's fine...but it's mostly been just villagers. I'm not seeing the universal merit to this.
Outing as a villager doesn't necessarily mean inno, if you read the day post it says some villagers chose a path of darkness. So the monsters have to be careful which villagers they attack. As well as we have to be careful which villagers we trust.

I attack for 9

OK so there are a few roles with big attack values.

Anyway, if this is true, Arsonist must have had less than 24 HP which is still not a lot. I really don't see antitown PRs having that little health, so I'm gonna stick with my theory that he was the Thug.

Ignoring the giants "insta-kill damage", all in all yesterdays damage was 115, done by 34 people, which is an avaerage of 3,38. This is prone to slightly increase today as most villagers got special roles and probably also (slightly) increased attacks.

Good stuff, supports my theory that the average attack is in the realm of 3 to 3.5. Interesting to note though, that the average damage/person overall was higher than the average damage/person to the Giant (3.26). This might tell us there were more PRs off the wagon than on it.

0, but I attack with my night action now

Sorry, what?

Eh it's hard to explain my night role, primarily because I don't know, gonna ask klippster and see if I can understand it a bit better

It's ok, you obviously didn't do it on purpose or else you wouldn't have corrected yourself. Anyway I can assume you have a night attack

That's also why my main targets list is currently Zeffy, Melody, jdthebud.

Regretfully you (Zeffy, Melody, jdthebud) are also the very quite type. Why don't you participate in the discussion a bit more?

Edit: Anyway I'm off to bed now, see you tomorrow ^^

Before I am outed (again) for not participating in the dicussion I haven't been online today until well.. now. I usually try to post in every mafia that I'm in when I'm online but on somedays it's more than others.

Just letting ya'll know before you kill me for it again.

Don't worry, if anyone attacks someone for not participating in a conversation I'll attack them back. I don't see why it is suspicious to have a life outside of pc, however it would be suspicious to attack someone for that reason.

I would be inclined to believe that the more powerful the NA, the less the attack stat and viceversa @the previous discussion.

and if they have a low day and night attack they'll probably have a good secondary ability

Being quiet does not mean one is scummy; but it seems you're rather new around here. I've always played this way; no matter what my role. Mind you I do speak up. and did speak up yesterday but I have a life too...and other tasks I am responsible for on PC. :p

I'm suspicious of you now faer; randomly pointing the finger is usually fairly scummy...even if you don't have any information to go on. There's been a fair bit of theorizing going on though so why don't you pay attention to that instead of pointing the finger?

Seeing as how I'm a target already; why don't I just [Attack] faer? That's what he wants right? I don't mind being the first to draw my sword, there's no better ideas at the moment and I like to honestly commit to my scumreads anyways. I hope the rest of the village does understand this though, this isn't just retaliatory; it's new information on which I'm acting on when someone is trying to sus me out for no other reason than being quiet, when in fact I haven't been. :3 (I've been offline asleep for the past 8ish hours)

As Naku said, I don't think everyone can attack at night. I would dare say that most people can't attack at night. NAs are very varied. At night, around 7 people took damage, a lot of it from the scum, as told by the story. If most people had night attacks, we would have probably seen a los more damage.

It may not be that they can't attack at night, but that they are limited on their NA. My NA has a limit on it that I'd rather keep a secret for now, so I may not use it until I know for sure who is scum.

My night attack with linger for the rest of the game, so I've got to make sure I get the right person too

Can you say what it'll exactly do or what will happen to the person you choose? Like if it lingers, will it take take a certain number of damage to that person each night until it kills them or something?

^ That's true, but since he's gone as far as telling us that it lingers throughout the game I can't see why he shouldn't tell us the full role. Of course if he doesn't want to he doesn't have to, but like you said, you suspected poison which could put him as a target for people, but if it's really just a NA that'll affect some people then perhaps telling us may save his skin. Leaving things out may be more dangerous than revealing everything. And I may be wrong (and I probably am), but that's what I'm taking out from this situation.

It could go either way. If he does reveal the entirety of the role, it may turn out to be a danger that players (Evils or otherwise) think needs to be snuffed out. Similarly, not saying might lead to a similar conclusion.

Looking at it, I'd say that it was a mistake to have revealed it in the first place. Only way I can see things undoubtedly going his way is if he reveals his role knowing full well that the night action isn't too much of a liability to most players, something that would make him about as dangerous as a standard villager.

It does 1 damage every night and I get it once throughout the game, so I'm pretty much useless
