The Darkest Dungeon

I only betrayed them because I could've win either way. Initially I chose siding with innos 'cause it's a lot more easier, but I noticed that I have a chance to win solo as well, so I went for the route that looks a lot more fun lol. :v

Survivor-esque roles are rather common in mafia games. All they need to do is survive 'til the end of the game in order to win. However, most of them tend to cross over to the dark side if it seems like they are winning. Well it won't be clear with roles not revealed upon death on who's the winning side tho, but tbh an instakilling role is kinda scary. x_x

Pretty much exactly why gimmepie really cannot be trusted, lol

Yeah, no. I'll just [attack] gimmepie as well. If he's telling the truth he won't die anyway and he is too much of a liability to everyone in the game. If he doesn't die, we can finish him off when it best suits us.

Woah! 4 more pages in less than 8 hours!
*brb reading*
edit: Oh no Fox, how could you do this GP? I wanted to see more of his blog posts :(

Though I imagine the hag will keep whittling away at the swine prince. He's an enemy of hers and she now knows who he is, so that would be her best strategy. As for the rest of them, I wouldn't mind at all if they focused on you during the night.

Although I assume this will be the case, I think it is way more likely that her powers are character-based rather than The Hag knowing who the Swine Prince is.

Also, regarding the villagers outing themselves, I think it is a good idea as well. We also have at least one protective role in the Man-at-Arms and by the looks of it, he is in the dark as well. Unless it is a character-based role as well, which I doubt, he could very well end protecting an enemy. If the hurt villager outed themselves, the Man-at-Arms could protect them.

In any case, an outed Villager could possibly escape the target of the mafia because they aren't enough of a threat. But, like Naku said, this is just a suggestion.

ugh, I don't know if you noticed, but we can't really out ourselves at night anymore

You can still RR, though. It doesn't have to be at night.

Yeah, I kinda guessed it from the context of one of your posts, Nimsy. x:

So posting around the campfire gives no strategic advantage now. Makes sense. I still need to get caught up, but for now, I'll just go for gimmepie, because that kind of power in the hands of one person is frightening.

[Attack]gimmepie

There has to be some kind of catch to him being that powerful though...

We need to be sure the Man-at-Arms picks that up. Less of a gamble for him at night.

I figured it was Nimsy lol

probs someone salty about the Hater winning lbr

No one may post while Around the Campfire.
If you do post, you will be reduced to 1 HP! Your role will not be publicly revealed any longer.

Even if GP says he'll side with us, I'd much rather be able to keep him in check and whittle down his HP earlier, so in the likely event that he defects against the heroes then we can stil take him down.

I'm not sure if it's a good idea for villagers to rr, if they do so then the bad guys (can't remember what they're called in this game) will have their targets narrowed down and will have a better idea of who the power roles are and just go for them.

Jeez guys, you talk waaayyy too much! I can't tell if Gimme's telling the truth or not. A third party isn't unlikely, but giving someone a OHKO move to use does. How many times can you use it Gimme?

Also [attack] gimmepie

I don't like the idea of someone randomly attacking someone else in the beginning. It seems dangerous to really everyone and being able to defeat a hero would make it even worse.

It's literally just him having a really high attack stat

so he can do it once a day, everyday, just like the rest of us.
