The Fangirl

[KILL] jdthebud

Random voting cause I don't wanna hop on the Aiden wagon :/

I really don't want to join this bandwagon. But, since this whole format is new to me, I'm curious to see where this leads us...

[Kill]Ninja Aiden

Don't hate me Aiden, pls ;-;

That's exactly what a mafia would say, "I don't wanna hop on the "x" wagon. Why? Simple, because you know who is mafia and who's not, so, to clear yourself when that innocent dies next day. If Aiden turns out to be innocent i'll keep an eye on you.

That's really really bad logic. I could understand if you thought it would be a mafia thing to do if that person knew Aiden was on their side, but saying that they might be mafia because Aiden might be inno and not hopping on that bandwagon somehow "proves" that they are innocent is not smart logic at all.

I've decided not to hop on bandwagons before as an innocent just because I didn't think there was evidence or reason to keep up the bandwagon. That doesn't mean that I'm mafia trying to look inno ?_?

I'm not even sure if what I said just made sense because trying to explain it to myself and write a coherent post about the holes in your logic.

He's suspicious for not getting on the bandwagon, in other words? o:

I agree with you Doof, it's really WIFOM. You can talk yourself in circles over whether someone is inno because they didnt want to vote an inno up or maf because they purposefully did it to seem inno.

With that I shall [kill] JohnnyMustang.

I've not jumped on bandwagons enough to say that I'm agreeing with Bidoof. The logic behind Johnny's words is.... really flawed as I've never been mafia whenever I've not jumped onto a bandwagon. For me, since I normally don't take the inicitive, it's whether I think the bandwagon is right or not. Sure, he may be trying to look innocent but there are so many other reasons why someone would not want to jump onto a bandwagon.

Or if I just need to really vote and my vote won't change a thing.

That said [kill] Ninja Aiden. I myself don't really want to jump onto this bandwagon, either, but it's kind of one of those things where I can spend time trying to choose someone else but it'll not matter considering just how many voted Aiden already had. Hopefully even if he is inno it'll lead us somewhere.

I'm not even sure how bad of an ability is this mind-control ability. I think I missed on a detail somewhere (as usual). But I don't think I'll hop on the Aiden-wagon 'cause Day 1 and 2 bandwagons are just plain stupid. <_<

Also, I can't seem to understand the logic that you talking about, Johnny. I mean, sussing someone out just because they don't want to join on a bandwagon. Pretty sure that if there's little to no evidence against someone then even the innocents won't even try hopping on a bandwagon (but eventually some of us do 'cause someone will have to get kicked out eventually). To me, "joining bandwagons without any actual evidence" counts as suss.

Yes, but when there isn't any evidence then what difference is there between a bandwagon and everyone random voting and someone dying off cause 2 or 3 people random picked them? It's basically the same chance of helping/hurting, but how often has a game had everyone random vote to the point that someone with 2 against them got lynched?

I agree that for the most part bandwagons don't help, but at this point there isn't much to go off of and it isn't much different than random voting.
Hey we should make a thread talking about bandwagons!

Usually when I have played elsewhere voting isnt as forced as it is in the games here, and someone has to hit a majority to die, so if a game of 20 people has someone on 3 votes as the lynch at deadline then nobody dies.

I don't really get why that doesn't happen here. Maybe people think games would last too long but some of the games here don't need any help with that aspect ;)

I think it allows tthings to flow more naturally.

Well

since the phases are part of the game, that's not really possible
