Well, it seems ONM have found out a little more about the new games "timeline" aparently the pokemon company will be revealing more info on april 15th!

Pokémon Black and White Timeline

Thursday 10 December: First trailer of Pokémon: Ruler Of Illusion: Z. Who is Z?

Friday 29 January: 5th Generation Pokémon DS game announced

Sunday 7 February: Silhouette of new Pokémon revealed on Pokémon Sunday

Wednesday 10 February: First scans of new Pokémon leaked out

Monday 15 February: First official pictures of Zorua and Zoroark

Thursday 4 March: New Pokemon: Ruler Of Illusion Zoroark trailer

Friday 9 April: Pokémon Black and White revealed

Saturday 10 April: Coro Coro Magazine reveal the first images of Pokémon: Black and White

Sunday 11 April: Pokémon Sunday TV show to reveal Black and White information.

Thursday 15 April: Pokémon Company set to unveil further details.

Saturday 10 July: Pokémon: Ruler Of Illusion: Zoroark released in cinemas across Japan.

i just cannot wait to see the starter pokemon. im hoping for a cool grass hybrid like grass/flying or grass/dragon

Yeah,but the grass starter has to be based on a flightless bird, because we have had a two flightless birds for fire and water
 
I seriously doubt there's gonna be dragon type starter....they want us to catch those ever-powerful dragons.they will never gift us them..moreover it'll make our starter pretty darn strong as compared to other region starters which won't be good...if they wanted they could've so easily done that with sceptile
 
i think the starters aren't suddenly going to shift to different types away from the traditional grass/fire/water typing but it would be a new experience to have dragon or dark or psychic to start with, hey maybe they will merge some of these types with the starters or their evolutions?
 
I wonder how big some of the cities will get...
and i still want there to be an airship
 
Well they could do a sort of double type starter circle. Say we stick with Fire-Water-Grass, but we also have Fighting-Dark-Psychic. So, double type it into, Fire/Pyschic-Grass/Fighting-Water/Dark. So now, its pretty much 2 sets of types with one starter. It also works with Fighting-Rock-Flying, my peronal fave.
 
I have notice that the water starter for the last two gens have both the types of the first two mascots for example: Swampert has both Water and Ground like Kyorge and Groundon while Empleon has had Water and metal like palkia and diagra. not counting the water legendaries they have pratically had water combine with one of the first version legendary type...
 
Who says Zorua evolves to Zoroark? I heard they were companions. So this could mean that they could both be Legendaries, like Manaphy and Phione.

It was revealed ages ago in a Corocoro scan that Zorua is the Pre Evo of Zoroark, this fact was also highlighted by a big yellow (I think it was yellow) arrow pointing from Zorua to Zoroark

Well, all the sites have pretty much said that, bulbapedia, pokebeach, and even seribii.net have all said that Zoroark evolves from Zorua, and didn't it say that when they got revealed anyways.
 
I want more speculation. How about what the Rodent will be this time? Maybe a bunny?
 
We mean double-typed.
I like Fighting-Rock/Steel-Flying... Altho that would make the steel one strong to alot of types... But if Empoleon could, then why not?

I like Fight-Dark-Psychic too, but it may be hard to work out, as psychic is unable to damage dark at all XD

And don't we have enough rodents already? They seem to get worse and worse every time, so why not stick with the old ones? I personally think that the less new Pokémon, the better.
 
we've had a bunny (Buneary), next would probably be.....(lesse, we've had a Rat, a ferret, a racoon, a bunny, so...) I dunno

Generation IV's Rattata was Bidoof. :X

Because what qualifies as a "Rattata" of the region is;
1. Normal-typed
2. Usually on the first Route in the Region

It was:
Rattata, Sentret, Zigzagoon, and Bidoof.

So, Rat, Ferret, Raccoon, and Beaver :O

It's like the "Pidgey" of Regions;
1. -flying typed
2. USUALLY on first route, but Gen III exception

It was:
Pidgey, HootHoot, Taillow, and Starly.
So, Pidegon, Owl, Swallow, and Starling.

OMG I WOULD DIE WITH HAPPINESS IF THE NEXT REGION HAS A CARDINAL. :D
