Already proposed cyndaquil, pachirisu, eevee... I'm not fresh on ideas... let's see...
How about poliwag? Sister raised one from the pond in Ecruteak city back in crystal,
was the first pokémon of the Adventure Red and is also the fave of the founder,
Satoshi Tajiri, since it's a childhood thing!
(probably there's some alternate universe in which my mother is the founder and the kingdra family is her fave)
