I'm leaving tomorrow, so I'll leave the club in Memory's capable hands 'till I get back.

Harry and Ginny would have taken care of Teddy. Lupin made Harry his godfather, remember? (I think...)

I wish Neville could have dueled with Bellatrix too, but what Mrs. Weasley did was awesome as well. XD

I'm sure Harry managed to become an Auror somehow, especially with Kingsley as the Minister. (If he still was at the time)

When the parents die, the child moves on to the next guardian and then to some sort of child care if there are no living relatives left. It just might not have stated that Harry had raised him but it was probably just left out just like the fact as to why Teddy was on the Hogwarts Express. (Though I don't think it directely stated he was getting on the train).

I don't think Teddy was actually getting on the train, he was just there. If he was actually getting on, maybe it was because he was a teacher, or an aspiring teacher, or something.

If you look in the topic in the "Other Entertainment" section here at PC, someone posted a really good link about an interview with J.K. where she revealed what happens to everyone (Harry is a Auror, so is Ron, etc, etc.)

I'm agreeing with that for more than one reason. For one, Teddy would have been 19 as it is 19 years later. And students leave Hogwarts at the end of their 7th year which is when they're 17-18ish. Being 19 rules him out of being a student still.

Yeah, maybe Teddy is even just there with the Potters while they board their kids. But how early must Ron and Hermione been gettin' busy then? Or how young does Teddy like 'em? Because he was supposedly making out with Ron and Hermione's daughter, so how old was she supposed to be?

Hm, well maybe Teddy was there with them anyway, spending some quality time with God-Daddy Harry. I actually didn't read that thing all the way through, I just kinda skimmed to see if Harry became an Auror. That was what was bothering me the most at the end.

There's quite a lot to predict of what happens over 19 years... we can't exactly say which is what and be correct on it. But he was there for whatever reason, making an extremely short appearance. The interviews with Rowling aren't exactly great for making understandings of the book... since she never wrote what happened... she can change her mind and write almost anything.

Uhh, this is the Harry Potter club, and yar, if you open the spoilers there's a rather lengthy discussion goin' on.

And Flavaquil, agreed, I think everytihng is still a bit too vague. That's why I think that there will absolutely be another book down the road, and not just some encyclopedia, like a whole 'nother book.

ah, i dunno, Rowling's done, deffinately, but not with her whole writing career, i heard she was going to start writing Adults and Childrens books, but not another Harry Potter book.

Maybe she'll do a Brief "What Happened After the Seventh book" Kinda thing, prolly a soft cover about 200 pages long, but no way in this world or the next that she's gonna right a whole other book. The reson being that the topic is over- go into spoiler if more interested

Because voldemort is dead, we already have a vivid idea of what happens in the next year and the years following book 7.

Yeah, but I have a few other ideas on waht they could make a book of. I'll put it in spoilers, though I don't know if it really needs to be-

Spoiler:

-A prologue to the originals, chronicaling Harry's parents' lives and what it was like during Voldy's first amount of time in power
-A story of Harry and Ron and Hermoine's kids having their own misadventures at Hogwarts
-Harry, Ron and Hermione need to get together one last time to put down a mass Death Eater revival
-A chronicle of what happened in the 19 years

Those are just a few ideas, and there are probably more options on top of that for another. I really think that she won't want to part with this series and will make another out of love for the books. It seems like she is just a fan herself, except she gets to make the stories AND read them.
