Apparently the so-called Lightning Yellow Romhack is nothing more than a barely-finished FireRed based Yellow remake with only the FIRST PARTS of the game remade (Beginning with Old man sprite Prof. Oak and Weedle) and the first rival battle at the Route near Indigo Plateau, as well as the Action Replay Lvl9 Pidgeotto at Viridian Forest (Caught it for Fly Slaving later on), but the rest is basically just Fire Red. Oh well.
After enduring what I would like to call starter Pika-Hell... I got a lvl18 Voltorb at Route 9... my game before that extremely valuable Voltorb pickup was basically a Pikachu Solo run
Game: Pokemon "Lightning Yellow" (barely started FireRed Romhack)
Monotype; Electric
Region: Kanto
Badges Acquired: Brock, Misty, Surge, Erika, Koga
Thank lord for the Magneton addition to the team. I visited the Power Plant in hopes of getting a Magnemite to raise but the second thing I would run to, after running away from a wild pikachu was a lvl34 Magneton. A great addition to my Lightning Yellow Team.
Plans:
- Clear Silph Co., Obtain Master Ball (For Zapdos) (Assuming that this Barely done "Romhack" did not fix the roaming IV glitch of the legendary beasts, it would be pointless to get Raikou for this run)
- Defeat Sabrina (Magneton and Jolteon with Bite will easily do the trick. Steel tanks Psychic, Bite being Dark Based)
- Farm EXP with the Tangela Brush patches south of Pallet Town (Since I decided to throw EV training out of the window. Curse FireRed/LeafGreen's lack of EV Reducing Berries)
- Spread out my type coverage through TMs and HMs
- Defeat Blaine and gather enough resources to tank out Giovanni (and other Ground type trainer related ilk) later (Kanto = TOO MUCH GROUND TYPE - IGN)
Fieldslave(s)
lvl 13 Oddish from Route 5 for Cut, Flash, and Sweet Scent (Exp and EV Farming)
lvl5 Pidgey for Fly
lvl30 Snorlax for Surf and Strength
