The offical "PC won't load | I can't post | threads won't load" etc. thread.

I can't see some of the avatars too. I can see Terseas but I guessing the light grafical one are the ones I can't see. I can't see mines that for sure. Still I just happy that PC is back up.
 
Most avatars will probably have to be reuploaded. And...if you have any problems uploading them, let me know, since some people have reported that already. o.o
 
Works now. I just had to reupload it. Thank you for the help.
 
I couldn't get on for a while, apparently it had something to do with a "theud.com"...yet I'm looking at my address bar and it's still there. What IS that?
 
That's PC's new URL. We haven't quite gotten the domain back to its original state, so for now PC is accessable via theud.com/pokecommunity. o.o

Why did nobody tell me? ;;

I noticed there are some images missing on the "Trick or Treat", the "Pokegeneric" style, the "Midnight Misty" style and probably a few others.
I bet you are going to fix this.

On the bottom it says "Members: 225", but there are a lot more members on the member's list.
Is this some kind of error?
Sorry if it's bene pointed out before.
 
Yeah, we're getting to all that. The member count is an...unfortunate accident, but we hope to do a recount when the activity slows a bit, since it lagged the forums horribly earlier today when we tried.

And we are getting to the themes, it'll just take a bit. :x

Oh, so is that why bunches of posts have been deleted? Is there any hope of getting those posts back?
 
I mentioned this in the "225" thread that was just made, but I'll say it here too.

The latest backup we had before the forums went down about a week ago was from September 4th, so that's what we're running on now. Any posts that were made since the backup was first installed yesterday are gone, but most people shouldn't be concerned about that since I think only...10 public posts or so were made anyway. Basically, we can't get any posts back so you've gotta deal with this. It's not too bad, though.
 
The total number is up to about 19,000.
Edit: What about the pictures on the Forums.

Um, if by pictures you mean the skins, there are some skins that are a little bit broken but we'll get around to fixing them. :x

If you're talking about attachments, the server move wiped them all out. I deleted all my attachment entries from the User CP because they no longer work.

Sorry, I didn't mean to make you say it twice--I was only expecting one of my posts to be answered (...oops). But as far as the posts go, I guess that I'll have to make do...except there was one really long post that got deleted and I didn't want to have to type it again 0.0...

Like, when I FINALLY could reach PC again, all my PMs and a few of my posts were gone! Ok, I understand the post thingy, but can PMs... just dissappear?!

Yes, simple because they were non-existant when the backup was made.
This version of PC is based on the backup of the 4th of September, therefore, everything that happened after this date (posts, PMs, and any other changes) is lost.
