When I recieved my laptop, it costed around $3,500. It was new, because it had just been released around 2-3 weeks before getting it. Also, it was bought from a Sony shop and was created in 2004.

If that one tends to get old and start malfunctioning, I'll just purchase a computer another time when I start getting a job in the next few years.

I'm still planning to buy my Laptop with some of my Christmas Money {Or the rest of it?}. Will serve me well on the two trips I'm going on this summer.

Meh, I still prefer desktops to labtops. I don't do a lot of travelling and when I do there's usually computers where I'm going o.o; so I just pack all my handy stuff in my memory stick. I hate how labtops have that finger system for using the mouse -- or even worse that little green booger stuck between the 'g' and 'h' key. -.-

I think sometime this year I'm getting a Desktop, I've got used to my laptop mouse pad thingy XD I've got quite attatched to it and whenever I go on a Desktop PC I end up stroking the keyboard wondering where the mouse pad is XDD

Whenever I get something in between my laptop keys, I just get a little brush and brush the crap out =]

Oh no, the green booger is supposed to be there. xD;

You haven't seen one before on a labtop keyboard?

I used to call laptops 'labtops' when I was younger. I like the finger system, I guess I just got used to it that way. Also, I love how they have flat keyboards, because the one's for computers tend to get all dusty on the sides of each key.

There's no green booger stuck anywhere between the keys on my laptop.

o_o; It's *laptop, just so you guys know~

._. And one time my mom was trying to clean the keyboard and she almost sucked the space-key up~ ._. but it detached and it took like 2 hours to put it back. It was ridiculous~

'sucked the space-key up'? Did she use a vacuum? If so, I think it'd be best if your mother used a cloth to clean the keyboard. XD

I've always called it a labtop. o.o; I know that they're actually called laptops but I can't seem break the habit. =x Bare with me.

Yeah, how the heck do you suck up a key? :P

It's common. Keys in a flat keyboard aren't all that strong enough. Don't get me wrong, it still doesn't mean a computer's keyboard won't have the same problem. Sometimes they get detached or broken if you're a typer who presses keys too roughly. Fortunately, that hasn't happened to me yet.

Omg, I see a Kyo in your sig *It is Kyo... right? XD*

I wish there was a little hoover type thing that could suck in all of the dust and stuff and could fit in between the laptop keys so that it won't suck any keys up =D That would be very handy IMO.

That actually sounds like a good business idea. =D

There actually are little vacuum cleaners designed specifically for cleaning keyboards and the insides of DVD players, VCRs etc. You can pick them up for anywhere between $10-$70 depending on what you want.

Yeah, my parents need to get one of those for the keyboard on this computer. I'm positive that there is a good amount of dust and other random crap in it. There are certain keys that I have to make sure are punched because sometimes it won't pick up that it was hit. Oh well...I'll be back at school tomorrow and I'll be on my own computer. =P

One of my cousins in England owns a laptop, and there isn't just dust and random crap. He eats his breakfast/lunch/dinner close to it, so that he sometimes drops his meals. Usually there are tiny pieces in between the keys. I didn't want to even touch the laptop, it was revolting. He's like me, spending his life on the laptop, doesn't talk to his family much either. Except I eat my meals on a table with them.

Ugh, I remember when I spilt milk all over my keyboard a few months ago. It took forever to clean up, and my keyboard smelt for a while after that. >_>

Ew..XD

My brother spilt coke on my keyboard once and never told me about it. He didn't clean it up either, so a lot of the keys stuck together and could no longer be pressed. I ended up having to get a new keyboard.

I spilt a small amount of coke over some parts of my keyboard a couple of months ago. Took me a little bit to clean it up. {Of course this was at around 3 AM}

I usually keep my laptop on a computer desk whenever I'm going to take a drink. I can't risk it being damaged in any way, I treat it like family.
