I mean... it's Dex classification is the 'Flyscorpion Pokémon', so I've always considered it more of a scorpion of sorts.

i mean yeah gligar isn't prolly a bat, but def has some features. Zubat is nice, I actually like its line and Crobat is cool and helped me in basically any game.
