It sure is cutie, Gible's so vibrant and ready to go. My first random encounter shiny was Gible in Platinum. I have told this story on the forum probably 10 times, but it's still just as magical to me. I named it Treasure because of how special I realized a gible with a yellow tummy was. Never evolved it.

You can get a shiny gible from Alder's relative Benga in BW2 as a reward after the post game battle facility. In White 2 it's a shiny Dratini.

Firebolt and I gave away some shiny gible during an event last year for Dragon Ascent (the dragon Pokemon club) along with some other shiny dragons and pseudodragons like noibat, charmander, kingdra, dratini, skrelp and trapinch. I believe I still have a gible left over from that event, or at least a Gabite. We had a good time together, thank you Norris!

I think I remember it putting up a decent fight against Tobias, considering he was facing a Darkrai. It took Sceptile to finally take it down.

It's the first psuedo legendary dragon Pokemon line to not change type any stage of evolutio. Bagon/Shelgon and Dratini/Dragonair start off pure dragon types, and became dual dragon flying types in their final stage Evo. Gible, Gabite and Garchomp are all dragon/ground Pokemon.
